That match f***ing slapped... quite literally, since Mox's chest might be purple tomorrow
Between the fact this was an audible and the fact Kingston only got here like a month ago, their stock in him is through the roof, and the finish did a perfect job to protect him, and the ending even showed their feud might only just be beginning. The match itself was amazing, Kingston matches usually are, from the pacing, to the brutality, to the emotion he shows. Everything about it was really good.
Just absolutely making lemonade out of lemons, hope Archer gets well soon, but AEW's so stacked, that was one of the best TV matches they've had this year, and it was on short notice.

Such a good match. I could watch that again next week and be happy.

Hell of a hobo fight. Eddie’s face at the end of it was genuinely terrifying. And I wouldn’t want to be Mox’s chest.

Kingston and his new crew might want to watch out for the wrath of Renee.

I physically hurt after watching that match. Those dude laid into one another like the other owed him money. Yikes.
Those two are tough SOBs and it makes me so happy that Mox and Kingston main evented a national television show for a world title, it is so bizarre but so awesome.

Man, that was some brutal as f*** action. You could feel every strike. This shows that Kingston really is main event material.

Yep, that match ruled. Felt appropriate that it could have fit in as a G1 match, given G1 is going on right now...we’ll, maybe a N-1 or Champions Carnival match, since Kingston is Kawada/Kings’ Road ride or die, but you get the picture. Great physicality.

Considering the length of time they probably had to prepare for a match like that and the mentality of Mox of expecting a six man to a single World title match...yeah, they did a damn good job with it.
What I loved the most about it is that you can tell they were both holding back a bit because they were confident of getting another chance to work together and considering the finish, I really don’t see why not.

I think building Kingston up is best here. Cause while Archer should feasibly be back to normal in 21 days, you could A. Have Kingston if he isn't, or B. Have BOTH Archer and Kingston be threats to Moxley, and I dunno about you but a triple threat between the three sounds awesome.

Also, the idea of Penta and Fenix having matches with Mox, and in turn Hobbs and Darby Allin, is exciting. Then you have Cage and Starks with Archer eventually, so you have 9 people who can work matches with each other. Even a Moxley versus Butcher match would be a hot main event, so they have a large amount of ways they can go for TV.

I got annoyed when JR said it was bowling shoe ugly. Isn't that what he says when a match sucks?

Loved the match. Really enjoying the feeling of all these heels building claims against Moxley. Eventually someone’s gonna take him down, and there’s all kinds of rogues who might be that guy.

Kingston is a bada$$..... he’s not a great wrestler, not a “polished worker”, he’s just a scary bada$$ and I love it!

Yeah, I don't know if Mox and Eddie are friends or not, but they definitely respect each other enough that they both went out and laid their shit in and sold their asses off for each other.
Great chemistry. I never want too many gimmick matches, but I feel like these 2 could have a last man standing match that would live up to all the hype and then some.

Good, hard-hitting match. Just like I thought it would be.
Penta attacking Moxley after he won makes me want to see a title match between them as well.

I thought the story was great too, Eddie thinks Mox has gone soft after leaving the indies, but then when he's face to face in ring he gave a look of like "oh f*** maybe he's not soft" then after the two beat each other Moxley proves he's as tough as he ever was. Kingston's been great at heel hubris.

It needs to be said how good Mox is at making other people look good. I remember a pretty throwaway match he had against Kazarian where he made him look like a million dollars.
