It was weird to see Silver without Reynolds, but at least he gave a nice status update! Dark Order is the best. What other cult has vacation days? Not a cult!

When this is all over and OTT somehow gets The Dark Order to Ireland for a show, I’m going to buy John Silver a beer.
I don’t even drink but I will find a way.

I know it's a little off topic, but I liked deviANT and think it'd be pretty cool to see him join Dark Order with Reynolds and Silver. Any idea who played him and is he still wrestling?

Isaias Velasquez. Mainly based out of the Chicago scene. And yes, he's still wrestling as well. He will be in some upcoming matches for the likes of Black Label Pro and Warrior Wrestling

BLP has been putting him with the best of the best and he's stood out with them.

So, Silver was Shard in Chikara, right? He was Reynolds was CombatAnt as well Yeah I'm fully convinced that Dark Order is a CHIKARA parody

Man, I love Silver.
I almost hate to ask a serious question in a banter thread but here we go:
Is there a ceiling for Silver or no?
He's obviously incredibly talented in ring and he's absolute comedy gold (no pun intended) but is he too funny to ever take seriously or can he walk that Kurt Angle line?

I think the most interesting take I've heard on Silver is that he's built like prime Jushin Liger probably was under that bodysuit. Granted, I don't think he's got as high a ceiling as Liger...but I think it's a good way to contextualize what kind of talent he could be. He's also seemed to have success anywhere he has gone and gotten a chance, and the people who like him from the indies seem to really, really like him. For all we know, AEW simply hiring him and putting him on TV will lead to him sneaking his way into superstardom.

Before he and Reynolds joined AEW, Silver was actually becoming a main player in the northeast as a single star for both Beyond and CZW so I think had he waited a bit he would have gotten a bit more hype. I dont think Silver will ever be a world champion contender in AEW, but I think a TNT champ is very realistic
