Are they implying Silver is the Karen of the Dark Order?!

The guy is incredibly charismatic and has managed to get himself over. He'd earned his PPV match.
I'd be interesting to see where he stands in the group once Brodie returns

My favorite moment of Full Gear was Silver getting at least part of the audience to cheer him over ORANGE CASSIDY. I love this guy and it makes me so happy that other fans love him too.

There was a clear "JOHNNY HUNGIEE" chant when he wrestled in the tag eliminator. His overness is real. If it were a full crowd they'd go nuts for him.

How much of this Silver stuff has actually made it onto the TV show?
Not Dark, or BTE or Twitter, I mean Dynamite.

I don’t know if that interview he did with Reynolds and Colt before their title contendership matches was on Dynamite (it looked like it but I saw it on Twitter so who knows?) but that’s a good summery of the character if did. It’s a strange question for me to answer since I haven’t watched much Dynamite since the pandemic started because I wasn’t comfortable with shows being on at the time and only watched an episode recently because of Moxley/Kingston.

Sounds to me like we may each only have part of the story then. I didn't watch Dynamite for a while, but Dynamite really seems to assume I watch Dark and BTE. Like, without being ridiculous, I saw Silver on Dynamite as a jobber getting squashed, then eventually joining the Dark Order, then a generic henchman with a number doing nothing on television for months, then suddenly he has a feud with Orange Cassidy and all these character beats that seem to be referencing things. AEW really needs to realise that not all of their fanbase watches everything they do.

I like how progressive AEW is. They allowed a child to hold a belt.

Silver began showing character when Brodie won the TNT Title because Tony Khan thought it was criminal that Silver was showing all this personalty on BTE and wasn't showing it on Dynamite. So Silver began to do more of his BTE Mannerisms and promos more and more. Khan called it a steady progression and now Silver's Dynamite and BTE self are all encompassing, and it's worked for Silver because he's gotten chants, even dueling chants vs Cassidy of all people, during his stuff..

It clearly is working, but I think the fans coming to the same arena every week are more likely to keep up with the online stuff too.

Agreed with this - I worry that the Daily's Place setup is causing AEW to slip into the Impact Zone/Full Sail effect where they are performing for a batch of diehards who get super into the idiosyncratic parts of the show, with potential to be alienating to anyone coming in. I don't judge them to have crossed any lines on that score so far, and they seem attentive in general, but it's definitely something to watch for.

It's not like they're doing this with everyone, but I feel like when it comes to Silver and Reynolds it's been a big success I don't think they're leaning into any Impact Zone mentality, there isn't enough of a crowd for that frankly, they listen to as much online feedback as they do live.

I love this dude. He’s the best thing the Dark Order has produced this far.
