Ratings held fairly strong not only against the NBA, but also cable news coverage of certain events yesterday.

NXT was #38. So, removing news, Dynamite is the most popular show that's not live sports. A typical episode is getting Stanley Cup ratings, so that's real good.

Yeah the Cable News and the NBA played a factor but they held strong. If the events didn't happen yesterday, it could been higher. NXT again showing why Tuesday is the better way for business but they all think they effect AEW.

Considering the card had to change last minite and they had to fight through competition that's still a pretty good rating that held strong from last week. Would definitely like to see the breakdowns for it. See if anything cracked a million.
So AEW placed top 10 two straight nights, one time when they aired at 12:30AM. Quite a cool statistic.

You know it's pretty bad for NXT when a rerun of NCIS gets like 500k more viewers than you do, and the show constantly falls while AEW has some proven draws like Cassidy and Lee despite what anyone may say about Orange.
AEW should be proud of themselves they put on a consistent show people are starting to believe in, with or without competition.

Or the both of you should knock off the tit for tat rivalry arguments that make this whole ratings thing super annoying. NCIS is one of the most popular shows in TV history, at its peak it did about 40m viewers. Of course it’s going to get good re-run numbers.

Exactly, there’s room enough for both shows on Wednesday nights. No need to have to bash one for not doing as well as it’s lead-in.

I wasn't even trying to get into a tit for tat argument I just found the drop interesting, cause I never knew it had that high of a number for a lead in to drop Now I'm kind of curious what the movie lead ins for AEW do.

I think it's interesting that AEW improves on its lead-in. Shows that people are tuning in just to watch it.
Also shows that a lead-in can help, but it won't make people hang around unless they like what they see.

Also shows that a lead-in can help, but it won't make people hang around unless they like what they see. We've seen that a lot mainly with RAW which will lose roughly 200,000 people from the start to the end But that's also because it's three hours and it just seems unfair to expect three hours a week to be compelling straight through for everyone. Whereas Smackdown lately, has seen a slight uptick in hour two or a very level number. For NXT it's been a steady decline as the show has gone lately, for AEW, the show can ebb and flow but has lately been gaining as it went on, the patterns are interesting to watch
