The biggest issue I have with the reign is that Bayley takes way too many clean TV losses as a champion.
Remove that, and it’d be amazing.

She will at least pass 434 days. It’s a Punk move for sure!

It would have been a much better title reign if she won it at Wrestlemania and held it until now but because she had already been champion for 9 months before that it was already getting tiring by the time she finally had decent stuff to do with the Sasha pandemic era stuff.
Has there ever been a year long title reign in modern times with such a lack of quality matches? Punk had the Cena/Bryan matches, Cena had Edge/Umaga/Michaels, Becky had Sasha/Asuka, Asuka had Bayley/Ember, Cole had Gargana/Lee, even Lesnar during his 500 day reign had some great matches.
She's probably had better matches on random episodes of Smackdown than her actual big hyped ones. All her pay-per-view matches have been forgettable. Hopefully the cell match with Sasha ends it on a high note.

I almost wonder if they had it go this far to purposely outlast Becky's Raw title reign (which she will do either next week or next month depending on what you're counting) and officially make Bayley the longest reigning women's champion of the last 15 years.

Oh, I knew the WWE didn’t talk about her anymore but I didn’t know they’d redacted her Well, there hasn't been any official thing per se short them dropping her name from the WM battle royal just as they'd added it. You know, because of public outcry from the stories of... her pimping out her trainees for money. When they had War to Settle the Score up (briefly), I THINK they described their match as "Wendi Richter goes for the women's title" which is pretty much the Benoit treatment on the Network.
