Reading this legit sent my brain into a Jim Cornette-lite rant. "Eva Marie, drunk 3 AM, could squat down and crap out a better wrestling match than a friggin' Natalya ever did! Only thing she's good at is passing gas into that f***ing Hornswoggle's nostrils. I'm pretty sure that guy just died 'cause of that, for god sakes!"

I am actually in shock she has been gone just over 4 years, where on earth is the time going? Holy shit, I can’t believe it’s been over 4 years

I mean, there's more to this shit than being a good wrestler. She may still be awful in the ring, sure, but who's to say she couldn't at least be a good valet for someone like Scarlett is for Kross? Billie Kay is bad in the ring, but I still find her entertaining and would rather watch her than someone like Nattie.

Good work rate is nice, but if you can nail a character that’s where it’s at. Look at Robert Stone and Aliyah. Eva can nail a character and if she’s gotten to passable levels I don’t see a downside.

I mean she really hasn't nailed a character either? Her mic skills were really bad at best, and considering her Hollywood career was a complete failure, I have zero confidence in her being able to do anything. Because remember before she left, she was a really bad character as well. The heat she was generating was not the good type of heat that makes you want to see a heel get comeuppance. It's the bad kind, where fans just wanted her off of TV or out of the company entirely, because she sucked at every aspect of the business.

I don't really care about the wrestling ability if the character itself is just fresh and fun to watch. Surely I'd save the main event spots for capable workers > ...but I don't mind about not always getting A+ wrestling... > if the actual entertainment is above your ordinary boring RAW/SD television. Little shake up (kjeh!) right now is really needed, that's where I hope Eva Marie comes in! #AllPinkEverything

Outsider model with excuses not to wrestle and obnoxious announcer was amazing.

Have to be honest, character work means very little to me. I have no interest in someone who can’t wrestle.

Not saying I'd put the title on her, but the Raw women's division is really boring right now so I hope she comes back with a character that livens it up a little bit.

She was legit awful. Couldn’t talk, couldn’t wrestle, didn’t really seem like she had a mind for the business. Why rehire people like that instead of going out and getting people that actually are actually good at things? I legit do not understand it. I mean she really hasn't nailed a character either? She didn’t even have any charisma when she was there the first time. Only there because someone finds her attractive.

Have to be honest, character work means very little to me. I have no interest in someone who can’t wrestle. Sometimes I wish I'd get more invested about following the actual matches again in the WWE. Latest one that did just that for me was Shotzi vs. Io. That's probably 'cause I don't think neither of 'em has been booked like a total joke so far and it involved hella lot my favourite spots from independent fandom years. But other than that, this year has been a full-on "wackier the better" for me. Okay, maybe last year too. But there was a time when I got PISSED if there was Eva Maria match going in my precious wrestling nights!

One thing I remember really liking in her run when they finally let her go to NXT like she was basically begging to do since like a month into having the job and the WWE being stubborn.
Was when she had the teaming with Nia... they were talking to Regal about something and Nia was told she wasn't involved in the battle royale to declare the number one contender for the woman's title...
Eva did this like goofy celebration dance behind Nia and then stopped as Nia started turning around.
I mean I wasn't clamoring to see her back... but I think the Diva thing mentioned earlier or putting her in a managerial role could work.

It's the the segments/vignettes with goofy characters like the Garganos, Robert Stone, Cameron Grimes, and Dexter Lumis that I enjoy the most.

Yeah I see absolutely no value in Eva Marie here. Like I thought we've moved passed this crap of hiring someone who clearly doesn't care about wrestling and isn't talented at all.
Like what, is she gonna do the model stuff again? Because it would seem we have Carmella doing that role now and she is so much better than Eva in every aspect. And i say that as person who isn't her biggest fan. Why bring someone back who isn't of much value when you have the likes of Vanessa Borne and Chelsea Green doing absolutely nothing. They could easily fill that Eva role and they actually have something.

I do realize that I'm probably putting more trust in Raw than the show deserves, though (if that's where she ends up). They sure know how to use people poorly on Mondays.

Here is the thing. If Eva Marie is positioned as a jobber who constantly gets her ass kicked and never rises above a certain level? That's fine.
But if she's pushed as a serious threat and gets even a single title match on TV, then that's where I draw the line. There are way too many other talented women in the company who deserve title shots (or reigns) before Eva Marie. And it's sad I even have to think this, but I feel like WWE is going to try and portray her as a serious threat, and it'll backfire horribly.

Am I to assume the reason there isn't a Magic knows Black Lives Matter post in three pages of this thread is because the second he heard this news he died of happyness?

Too bad this isn’t an early Halloween Divas Battle Royal. They could have her dress up as Christopher Columbus, get lost on the way to the ring and discover Raw Underground by mistake.

This kind of storytelling and sexy Halloween cosplays is just the thing WWE needs. Maybe she could teach Dabba Kato how to speak modern languages too!
