I'm still in the mindset that it should be revealed that The Best Man banged Penelope the day before the wedding and just destroy Kip with the wedding cake. Go forward with Miro + Penelope pairing for a while (face or heel, you can go any way with this one, as Miro is so likeable) and slowly build Kip up as singles star like they should've done with Rusev in the WWE. It would be so, so, so sweet > full circle > Miro needs to be The Action Man w/ all THAT gucci~!WWE was seriously criticized for doing an angle like that with Miro and Lana. Would it really be smart or a good idea for AEW to have him to do the exact same angle?

It will gets some views and I don't think it would ruin the show at all to make one of these, there are silly things like Loser Must Win things seem like a WrestleMania matches. I'd welcome anything from Cheaters to Divorce Court levels of madness. I think this is perfect timing for AEW to show it can do stories like these without it just seeming a let down. I'm counting on days to Miro pop out that good ol' Hawaii suit and show who really is #THEBESTMAN ~ ! AEW would be so talented filming a little E! parody videos, add in some of those Twitch moments and we are talking about Miro once again stealing year's end. AND I LOVE IT! > In the actual singles in ring stuff, I think he should rely on suplexes and vicious throws. Do not make him lose matches. He looks like a killer!

When he said "you can take your brass ring and shove it up your ass" I really didn't expect to be thinking of him in the same vein as TJ Perkins and that dude trying to look entirely too serious in DND pants like less than a month later. Like I know it's early days but I don't need x amount of weeks to figure out that I don't want Miro's whole deal to be nerd culture. Yeah... it's better than the last angle he had in the WWE... but that's such a low f***ing bar... (and I've heard a few people not on this board said they preferred the Cuck angle to this... I didn't question them... but I kinda get it at least Rusev still got to be his goofy charming self at parts I guess...) But Miro the Nerd Culture guy... is just... not working.

The fact that you can actually say "I don't like that he's hauling arcade machines around but at least he's not getting cucked on a weekly basis" and not be making up a single word of it is something. Wrestling.

Right now he seems even worse than his end in WWE. His end in WWE involved him getting cucked and losing his wife to another man, and then losing to him over and over. Like let's not start talking crazy here, he's demolished his first two team challenges in AEW and has been presented like a big deal, and is about to get a feud with one of the top AEW tag teams as they have been presented so far. He's just not in the immediate main event yet, but he's not even been here a damn month. To say that is worse than the shit he was doing in WWE is outright hyperbole. His last matches in WWE were him losing to Lashley three times in a row, singles, and two tags with Liv Morgan and Humberto Carillo for some reason... you can hate this gimmick all you want, it wasn't worse, like factually. It must be the hair.

He's still booked like he could go after Mox tomorrow, but would rather hang out with his BFF. Im liking it so far. His first match was little sloppy but I still said "Oh shit" when Kip said "GO get him"
I just wish AEW would let things breath a little bit. Its like as soon as a match is over a new fued will start two seconds later.
The Best Friends lost to FTR then Miro and Kip jump them.
Cody is half dead from a dog collar match heres OC to give him a thumbs up for a match next week.
WARHORSE couldnt beat Cody, heres a Dark Order beat down and freaking Zack Ryder for the save.
Mox retains well he comes Kingston.
I like that it keeps the story going but sometimes it takes away from the big moment that just happend two seconds before.

JR was hyping Miro to the top of Mount Olympia last night. I think he'll be fine. He's a dude with a hobby that he cares about. He's not going to stop a match to check if his game is finished downloading. He's going to play a game until he's told to go murder a dude. Then he'll start his game back up and get a hype train of subscribers coming his way.
Arcades are expensive and hard to move around* so having the fun of bringing it to the show to give a wink to the viewers who pay attention during the show and then having a hairy chested muscle dude dive headfirst into it is a major bummer.
Long thought short....I don't know. I think I lost where I was going with this.
*This opinion is based on listening to the podcast "The Giant Beastcast" for years when Dan Ryckert was a host and constantly told stories of buying a Mortal Kombat 2 arcade set-up and regretting it anytime he had to move for years to the point that he was planning on just storing it to use as his casket until he finally found someone to buy it.

If he’s going to be the “video game guy” he needs to rename the Accolade the Achievement ASAP.

Yeah it's ridiculous to say what he's doing now is anywhere as bad. Anyone saying that must have not watched whole Lashley/Lana/Rusev feud lol. As for Miro in AEW they are going a slow build up with him. More developing his character and personality first. While showing in tag matches that he can destroy people if you piss him off. Really it's opposite of what they did with Cage, Archer and Brodie Lee. Who debuted and squashed people for two months putting them as upper card guys right off the bat. Then when they lost to the top guys. People complained they lost too soon etc. With Miro they clearly don't want him just to squash people and lose big match to Moxley or Cody in a few months. My guess the plan is to get over his character as gamer with 18 to 34 audience. Then when the time is right(probably next year) they will push him as dominant main event singles guy. With the hope being he's super over once he's in main event spot and he could be a top guy for them. Doing this makes the most sense really since AEW doesn't have main event spot for him. With Moxley, Cody, Jericho, MJF and now Page/Omega back in singles. So it's smart to do more long build for him. Rather then just throw him vs Moxley or Cody after two months to get rating and lose. So people need to see big long term outlook here.

Yeah it would be bad if for example he was in the World Title tourney, people will complain about "Look how AEW pushes former WWE talent".

I think when it comes to WWE people, there is a part of the internet that just will never be satisfied. Pushed too much, pushed too little, I expected more versus they're like TNA. I feel bad for people who leave WWE and try to have a career afterwards, there's a loud internet crowd that just won't let them do their thing them no matter what.

I think Mox, Cody and Jericho prove that isn't true. Cody had been on the indies for a long time and established himself in that way. Jericho had already worked Japan, and was already a guy way before he went to the WWF. Moxley got to debut on a show with a crowd, and there were people who complained that he got pushed. You can look anywhere on the net, and see people talking up the AEW is nothing more then WWE guys getting pushed, no matter how well it goes. As far as underpushes go, Brodie was considered an underpush, because Dark Order were losers, and he helped it become one of the most popular angles on TV. The point was, every WWE person deserves a clean slate, and doesn't need to be pushed right away. They can actually enjoy themselves, and try to get used to being open creatively, and not just get a superman push the first 2 shows theyre on.

Dude's been around for what, a month or 2?
This feud with the Best Friends will be his first REAL program of note
Also, I'm a mark for the "GAMMMME, OVVVERRR" catch phrase

If he’s going to be the “video game guy” he needs to rename the Accolade the Achievement ASAP. I mean, there was a video game company called Accolade, which is a real deep cut. Gives Miro some nerd cred there.

This week was an improvement on last week but last week was pretty poor.
To be honest I am primarily still irritated that he's starting as a heel. I've been waiting years to cheer this motherf***er.
