For an episode with a happier ending, how about one on David Arquette winning the WCW world title, which leads into his return to wrestling on the independent circuit.

We do have a documentary on that subject. But if we add the actual WCW stuff, it would be fascinating to see how David felt about IWCers mocking/being angry at the title change.

I just feel that at this point the whole "David Arquette: WCW Champion" thing has been picked over so often by absolutely everyone that there's nothing left to add to the discussion.

Also, I'm wondering if the good ratings for this will inspire Vice to possibly pick up a wrestling promotion to start airing on their network.

Meltzer’s mentioned a few times that Vice is of the belief that “Dark Side of” is the draw not “The Ring” which is why they’re spinning it off into other Dark Side shows. There’s apparently no interest in putting an actual promotion on the network

Did that not do well?

I'm realizing now....Rockin' Robin lived through being a woman wrestler in 80s WWF and the Smith family drama.

The Confidential episode airs March 9th. It's hosted by Conrad and will go in depth on the Gino Hernandez episode.

How about an episode on Men on a Mission? The success of the tag team and then 10-15 minutes on Mabel, Mo and Oscar. How Mabel went onto multiple gimmicks, then his death. Where Mo and Oscar are now. Oscar was stealthily at Wrestlecon 2019. Paid for his auto as I feel he will be a tough one to get.

Paid for his auto as I feel he will be a tough one to get.[/quote] I met Oscar three times 2014, 2015, 2017. He is a very quiet guy. He's one of those guys who doesn't seem to understand he's famous. Maybe has to do with him not having been on TV in over 20-25 years. And maybe because he really wasn't famous to begin with. At the show in 2017 I showed him to his table as he was just walking around the convention room not knowing where to go and whoever brought him to the show hadn't met him yet I guess. I felt bad for him because I feel like without Mo or Mabel at a show he would be a tough sell for autographs or photos because fans would want a complete signed picture or a photo with all three. I met him once in a hotel lobby and he came into our room and the other two times were before the starts of conventions so I can see he's a really nice guy-just one of the more quiet guys you would meet. I'd be interested in a Plain Ride From Hell show. I feel like that was probably the beginning of the end of Curt Hennig's life. He had returned to WWF in a favorable way because he still had IT. And I think even though he was being used to put over guys he probably would have stuck around if Vince McMahon wanted him to but with getting into a fight with Vince's newest toy Curt was out the door. Obviously that didn't lead to his death but I feel if he had stayed with WWE and maybe had more camaraderie and with WWE not being like the WWF of the 1980s or 90s with drug use it would have been a better environment this time.

I'm realizing now....Rockin' Robin lived through being a woman wrestler in 80s WWF and the Smith family drama. She actually was an anomaly - trained by Nelson Royal (for good or ill), she worked outside Moolah's system. A few women did skirt around Moolah, but they were few and far between apart from GLOW/POWW/LPWA.
