Wiliams was perfect at number 11 to San Antonio Project player taken in the lottery with the right team to develop. If he goes to Chicago at number 4, the pressure on him will be immense for a team that really won't know how to use him I get that Chicago needs a forward, even moreso if Lauri pushes his way out of town. But if you want him, trade down to 6/7/8 and make someone else think about making that mistake for a price. They might as well take Obi Toppin With White and Lavine they are going to run and a Forward with legs is what they need. Deni would be a good pick but he's a combo guy who probably be better off on a team without so many guys to handle the ball

But why not trade down and you can take Williams or Okoro?

Interesting. A little bit of scheduling to digest
* The league will be broken into "two halves" this year. The first half of the season is Dec 22 - Mar 4. All Star break is scheduled for Mar 5-10. 2nd half will go from March 11- May 16
* May 18-21 will be the play in tournament games with the playoff starting May 22 and ending July 22 before the Olympics
* The Play in tournament will feature the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th seeds
* The 7-8 seed will play each other and whoever wins makes the playoffs. The 9th and 10th seed will play each other. The loser of the 7th/8th seed matchup will face the winner of the 9th/10th seed matchup and whoever wins that game will go to the playoffs

Bulls are offering Wendell Carter Jr and their number 4 pick to the Warriors for their number 2 pick
I’d take that deal. You can still draft Devi who they look at as a “Gallnari type player”.

As a Hornets fan, this is the most excited I've been about a draft in a long time. Hoping we get Wiseman. Need someone with some size down below. If he turns out to be any good, we can have some really solid building blocks going forward.

A really bad team overpaying to a recovering dynasty. Of course. What an overpay. WCJ is a very solid all-around player with still pretty good untapped potential. Has had a couple injuries, and they haven't deployed him well. He's super efficient though. Him and the 4th is a deal for Warriors all day long. Wiseman is a better rim defender than WCJ, but I think WCJ is a better man defender and rotation defender, more versatile defender. Being more mobile and having a year under Coach K makes a big diff. Having Carter Jr AND Deni/LaMelo/etc at 4 AND having the Wolves 1st in 2021 is huge. They'd have a good line-up this season, more depth than expected, and the pick next year. Do that trade 10 minutes ago. Wiseman fits, but this fits better.

Unless their are trades, it looks like Charlotte will draft LaMelo and Jordan has given them the go ahead to do so

They would get the Center they want and still can draft a forward Sure Carter Jr only has like a year or two left on his contract as opposed to drafting Wiseman and getting 4 years but you can work with that. No way Wiggins last on the Warriors past this season and it’s not like you would pay the max to Carter anyway.

Cavs talking number 5 pick with the Knicks
They really like Obi Toppin and willing to trade the number 23 pick they got earlier and their number 8 pick to get the number 5
I think that’s a reach. Let someone fall to you at 8 and you’ll end up with a decent player at 23 as well. Unless you can move up to take number 1 to take LaMelo or Edwards, no point in making a deal

It's SUCH a Bulls move to trade a recent 7th overall who they've used wrong along with a 4th overall to move up to 2nd overall in order to take a guy who compares to a player taken 6th overall who really hasn't set the world on fire and is going to his 5th team in his career this off-season. Kira Lewis is a late riser as well, but one who I believe in more than Williams. Knicks might be in on him, as well as Detroit.

Kira Lewis and Williams were projected 10-20 up until the end of last week and now both could jump into the top 10. If Halliburton or Hayes falls to the Knicks they need to take them but Knicks, ATL and Det are the ones everyone expect to take a guard There is also talk that Wolves still really don’t want the number one overall pick. They might take Wiseman for Charlotte and work a trade later

If the top 5 is set and you're guaranteed one of Hayes, Haliburton, or Lewis to be there at 8 (and a good chance more than 1) and you need a guard.....why trade up for a one-dimensional scorer?

Apparently they are in love with Toppin. He’s Knox 2.0 IMO as we spoke on before. If he fell to you sure, why not but I wouldn’t trade up for him. Toppin value is Iffy as seen with him being a possible top 3 pick to people thinking he can fall to the bottom of top 10 Knicks need to just play this out. Besides that, all this Toppin talk, you clearly don’t love Knox no more and should trade him. They got to get rid of Dennis Smith, Frank Ntilikina and Kevin Knox. Draft a PG cause forcing the ball and making RJ a playmaker is not the best strategy.

If the Knicks are gonna trade, deal with Atlanta and jump ahead of the Pistons who are heavy in the guard market and take the guy you want. But not for Toppin. When RJ isn't a big facilitator. Mocks seem to have it as Haliburton then Lewis then Hayes. It's pretty close.

It might not be what I'd do, but I see the value. But not for two 1sts.

Flip Knox, Randle, Dennis Smith and most likely they trade that Dallas pick tho they shouldn’t.

The Knicks fans don’t want a quick fix. They want the team to be in position to draft a star or two and have a few years to look forward too They never learn quick fixes is what kills this team. Stats, Melo, Rose, Noah, that bullshit they did last year all didn’t work. Even go back further to Marbury and Stevie Franchise. Knicks got lucky drafting KP but he ended being a bitch so that washed out
