Y’all have more faith in Cousins being able to contribute somewhere than I. He had a couple flashes with the Rockets but was largely pretty inefficient and defensively non-existent. Ring chasing, he might be team chasing at this point. I mean a few years ago, this is an "old school signing" He would only go out there to f*** people up when someone touches Kawhi or PG13. I don't know if Cousins sees himself in that role yet tho he needs to figure out something if he wants to continue his career With Howard it was his attitude but he still remains an athletic freak and contributes off the bench

www.yahoo.com/sports/russell-westbrook-hits-back-stephen-103419908.htmlThat's nice Russ but I agree with Stephen A here. You put up crazy good numbers other day and you're a good guy but your numbers don't matter no more. Stephen A said nothing wrong, he spoke on that man career and his current situation and the fact the Wizards are a losing team with him and Beal. I said a while ago Westbrook numbers don't matter to me and it seems the public is starting to catch up. It is fair criticism and one of the major reasons why I didn't want him on the Knicks. Great leader, good guy but his brand of winning hasn't gotten him anything and he's had talented teammates

Let's look at the Eastern Conference middle of the pack. Who are the true pretenders and contenders? 4. Hornets - Gotta go pretender because they lost their arguable best player for the year. 5. Knicks - Pretender. They are just simply overachiving. Could this playoff spot ruin their rebuild? 6. Hawks. Pretender. Trae can't do it by himself. The double and triple teams are coming in the playoffs. 7. Celtics. I would love to say pretender, but they just have enough talent to win a round. Contender. 8. Heat. Simply COVID and a lack of playing together didn't let them gel. They got Oladipo. They win a round as win. Contender. 9. Pacers. What happened to them? They looked legit the first half of the season. Then I hear everyone is on the trade block. Pretender. 10. Bulls. I like the moves they made. They could win a round if they get higher in the standings. But still a pretender. 11. Raptors. Oh the Raptors.... No Knicks making the playoffs will not ruin their rebuild. They are building a solid rotation and assuming both them and Mavs make the Playoffs, they still have two first round picks most likely 16-20 they can move Miami is more pretender than contender. No chemistry is not going to be fixed as playoffs approach. Boston is not a good team. Pacers hit a rut. Bulls are in play in contention. Raptors have been bad this year I think the Knicks even being a first round exit in the playoffs will do a lot for their cache with the NBA players more than anything. Yeah, you stick with the rebuild, but you still need star players to take the next leap forward to being a true contender. I don't know if there's anyone out there in the college landscape that has that potential, so gotta look out in free agency. Knicks look like they're trying to do what the Nets did, which is the right way to go. Having a smarter front office helps a lot, too. Win games and look competitive and you'll attract better players.

Knicks can stockpile a bunch of young players but who’s to say that will make them a place free agents want to go Right now they have a good mix of vets and young players. Now they won’t make such a widespread change like BK did but it only takes one move to make that happen.

How the F do the Knicks lose this game. It is inexcusable, every game is precious, you can't lose to garbage teams like this. If I am Tibs, I am giving them the riot act in the locker room. And I am pissed at my cheep front office for not giving me a scorer.

The ESPN ticker hyping Bucks/Lakers as “Giannis vs Schroeder” is something.

The ESPN ticker hyping Bucks/Lakers as “Giannis vs Schroeder” is something. I love watching TV networks try to sell shit games. Like watching Monday Night Football try to make people care about a Week 15 Bills vs Jets game for most of the last 20 years.

All the money he has, why does he care what anybody says about him? Money don't solve everything especially being thin skinned Some grow out of it and some don't. It took LeBron really until last few years to shed that label. KD takes it to a whole diff level tho with burner accounts and going back and forth with people. That's lame on his part

Durant can't handle being a heel. While Lebron was able to get past it eventually (going back to Cleveland to win a championship did a ton for his image), Durant can't. Or won't. Leaving OKC for the 70+ win Warriors is going to forever be a black stain on his legacy.

If the Harden to the Nets trade never happened and he won a ring with the Nets eventually the GS title's wouldn't hurt his historic legacy and it would be viewed more like Moses Malone as a Samurai Gun for Hire helping an already 76ers team win the title. But basically KD and the Nets though if they win a title KD will have done it with another top3-top 5 offensive player and one of the top 2 playmakers in the league. Literally no one is viewing KD at MJ-Lebron levels now even though at his peak he is as good as them

Durant just perpetually thinks he's right. Well dude, when you're making burning accounts to tell HS kids that they're trash, you're kinda wrong. And when you're still getting into shit like that at 32, that's probably just who you're gonna be your whole adult life. He's just a petty douche.
It's no wonder him and Westbrook didn't get along. Durant was definitely the better player on the court, but at least Russ could take the arrows shot at him. They have wildly different mindsets. Kinda like when Rodman was playing with David Robinson and everybody knew it wasn't gonna work.

Kinda like when Rodman was playing with David Robinson and everybody knew it wasn't gonna work. KD problem is that, he just "wants to hoop" when it doesn't work that way when you reach that star level. I'll always defend that knucklehead ass Westbrook should have deferred to KD because KD off the court is clown shoes but KD on the court is an assassin. He has no problem carrying the basketball weight but when it comes to everything else like being a proper leader, he falls way short because he is too petty to see when he is wrong and rather put that responsibility on someone else to be a vocal leader People like David Robinson tried to change Dennis and looked down on him. Dennis and Mike connected cause they are borderline psycho level in their basketball IQ and Mike knew how to tap into that. KD doesn't have that quality and never will. Instead of getting players to believe in you, you rather just go with the flow which is why I still this big 3 falling on its face at some point If they don't win the chip, him or Kyrie is having a meltdown on each other

Warriors getting their ass kicked 105-52 with still like 2 mins left in the 3rd quarter Klay getting hurt, and then getting hurt again in practice before he could even return, destroyed their entire dynasty Doesnt help Steph continues to have nagging injuries that are inhibiting his playing time and game and Draymond's just aging. Their windows shutting real tight, especially if Klay returns as a shell of himself, then it's really over. The West is just getting stronger and stronger and they're still hoping what got them to Championship Glory before is still enough. "Next year we'll be all good" was two years ago, and now it's looking to be three.

The West is just getting stronger and stronger and they're still hoping what got them to Championship Glory before is still enough. "Next year we'll be all good" was two years ago, and now it's looking to be three. Well, good thing for Klay is his game was never based on his athleticism. He's going to take a hit defensively but he should still have enough in his legs to create separation I wouldn't say the window is closed but they wouldn't marked as a favorite. I don't think any of the top teams would want to see Klay and Steph in the playoffs in the first round next year. They got money and assets to still make moves so they aren't dead dead. However, Draymond is fully washed and that max contract is what will hurt them. Oubre already talking he don't want to come off the bench next season so they got a decision with him in FA. Wiggins has played better but that contract is still bloated and will be hard to move The Wiggins and Draymond contracts is what is holding them up from having a complete team like in their glory days. BUT Wiseman is going to be a star in this league and Warriors could find themselves with two Top 10 draft picks if the lottery shakes out for them
