Listening to the Michael Kay Show and they brought up a good point: A lot of Yankees fans are also Knicks fans. It's funny how the expectations of those fans of the Yankees is "World Series or Bust" but those same fans would be so excited by the Knicks just making it to the playoffs and/or having an over .500 season. We can deal with misery that comes with Knicks but expect Yankees to win to give us "one good thing" in the year to really root for I'm a Jets and Knicks fan so Yankees has def been the one thing I can count on consistently to be good

Well I never thought I would say this, but in terms of New York city sports (not counting hockey, but much love to the Islanders though they technically is not New York city, but neither are the football teams) but thank god for the Knicks.
It is like the Knicks and the Yankees have switched talent like something out of Space Jam. Did those aliens take the Yankees talent and give it to the Knicks?
Though as great as this win is, Saturday game against the Rapters is an important game, looking at the schedule, Tuesday game against the Suns is going to be tough, if we lose that, I don't want it to be a 2 game losing streaks. The standings are so tight, you can't afford a 2 game losing streak at this point in the season.

It is a well rounded team that has given everyone including the other top teams in the West problems They have a real legit chance of making it to Western Conference Finals

Within a couple of years the team will be dismantled yet again.

Well, they are a veteran squad so their window is 2 years including this one CP3 is 35 years old but the future HOF player has been great for them. He will eventually regress but I think they will be fine if they hold on to Booker, Ayton and Bridges and keep a good team around them Considering Booker, KAT and D-Lo have talked about playing with each other, if Minnesota gets off to another bad start next year, I would not be surprised to see them go all in on those two as their big 3 Tho trust me I get it as a Knicks fan seeing this team winning has me nervous in terms of is this only one season

I thought it might be another of those trades where it was a superstar player who had their best years firmly in the rear-view mirror and Phoenix traded away a few good men for one past-it superstar. Although with all due respect to those players this time, it wasn’t exactly trading Shawn Marion levels of dumb. Admittedly I’ve hardly watched any NBA the last few years so I hadn’t seen how he was still doing a good job for Houston and Oklahoma so it was probably unsubstantiated concern.

I'm taking this current streak as a title win because it's the closest we'll ever get.

I think they’ve got a great shot at making a deep run, but their playoff matchups are probably gonna be tough. They are more than likely playing Dallas in the first round, who have an incredible player in Luka and are probably getting either Portland or the Clippers in the second round. The western conference is pretty loaded this year and a lot of teams have a real chance so it’ll be interesting to see.

Portland is pretty solid, but doesn't play defense. Dallas just is not a good team. If they had a bad coach, they'd be a lottery team. KP isn't KP of 5 years ago and the rest of that supporting cast is a mess. I'd have it as beating Dallas in 5, Portland in 6, and losing to LAC in 6.

Knicks can't be denied their destiny. Stop the count and hand them the rings right now.

You want to know how far Julius Randle has come. This is a true story, earlier in the season after a big Knicks win, the WFAN update guy accidentally called him John Randle.

And while we know Luka can win a game or two by himself, with KP looking like a shell of his All Star form they are not beating a well rounded Phoenix team Blazers may have a chance but it is same song and dance with them every year to believe in them
