I cannot get pictures to link. Even when I switch to desktop mode I just get a small empty white square after I put the imgur link in.

I see the issue, you need the actual link that ends in .jpg, or .png or whatever. I think Imgur might have changed something, somebody else was having problems as well the other day. Time for a quick guide:

Go to your gallery and tap the pic that you want, you'll end up here:


Don't tap the share button here, tap the picture again which takes you to this screen:


tap the share button here and it'll give you the proper link to copy.

Come back to Fan and paste the link between image tags:
[img] link goes here.jpg [/img]

If you want to know how to do it from the Imgur app, check my post history for the last few days, it's in there somewhere.
