Far Cry 6 is the most exactly okay game that has ever been made. Everything about it is… just exactly fine. Nothing about it is bad . But there is zero about it that stands out. I think you've probably described every Far Cry game since FC3. FC4, Primal, FC5, New Dawn, and FC6 are all perfectly well-made, extremely enjoyable games, but none have really moved beyond FC3 in the same way that game did from FC2. And I say that as somebody who put about 120 hours into FC4 as recently as April.

Heyyyyy, Tales of Arise is $20 at GameStop now (only on XB, not PS for some reason)
That’s my price point for jumping in.

I probably would have been a bit disappointed if I had bought it at full price, but it's an alright time. Can't completely hate on a game with a Shovel Launcher...

FAR: Changing Tides is a little gem. Conversely, I found Match Point tennis to be nowhere near as fun as I remember Virtua Tennis being.

At this point Mondays have become an endless cycle of me hoping when they update the week's sales they'll have the Friends of Mineral Town remake included and they absolutely never do. Is on sale on PSN all the damn time but absolutely never on Xbox for some reason, and I want it on there because I want a good farming game on the Xbox (and f***ing hate Stardew Valley, the controls are garbage and I dislike its aesthetic and the way you can't bring up the genre without people telling you to play it instead) and it seems like a good one to mine for achievements for Rewards points, but I don't want to shell out full price for it because I already have it on Switch.

I got a Series S the other day due to PS5s straight up not existing and probably not existing for any time in the foreseeable future, and I’m absolutely loving it. Game Pass is even better than I thought it’d be and it’s nice to be back on an Xbox console after years on PS4. I had an Xbox One, too, but it just didn’t have any games for me at all other than Sunset Overdrive, and I also hated the UI, but this feels much better. UI still kinda sucks though. I miss the 360’s set up, both blades and NXE.

Road 96 was a game I was most excited about playing before going into it since it's on Gamepass now and somehow, it's both exactly what I expected and not what I expected.
Really like the format of how it works adventure game wise and some of the story choices made via how you move around and such and whilst some of the voice acting is sketchy (one of the characters has a real "Big the Cat" vibe and another hasn't quite nailed down what he's going for), there's still enough to take you into the world it's building.
I don't want a sequel but if the team made something else like it in a different settling, I'll be there.

It is amazing what a goddamn wizard I am, it feels like any time I complain on here about anything I've spent ages waiting for it immediately happens. FOMT is indeed on sale now after months of me keeping an eye out for it.
Also of note on sale, which I'm considering grabbing, is the Quarry; is 33% off at the moment. Though I imagine it'll probably get even cheaper sooner rather than later, 2K doesn't tend to show restraint for long.

Got ‘As Dusk Falls’ because I have to own and play every playable movie that comes out. I’m at Chapter 2. I like it, the art style takes a little getting used too (it’s more a playable visual novel than movie, the only gameplay is making decisions and QTEs) {Spoiler} The Holt boys are absolute pieces of shit, but I think the sheriff is into some even heavier shit. I’m expecting to be blown away with his eventual dark reveal

Finally fully jumped into Cyberpunk. Glad I waited, because I’m generally bug free and enjoying it well enough.
A few little things annoying me, it’s so tryhard. Like the world is gross and grimey, yeah, but do I need to be beat over the head with it with sex signs all over the place that are just full-on in your face? Nothing subtle, here’s a squirt gun shaped like a dick with the caption “IT AINT THE GUN THAT SQUIRTS!”
And walking down the street, there’s always people. But the same person loops like every 5 seconds. There’s so many variations of looks and people, I shouldn’t see the exact same burly man in a diaper on the same block 6 different times.

Thanks Microsoft for making Fallout 3 a 43 gig download just so it can download the game 5 times, in 5 languages... How stupid. I have Gamepass Ultimate for the PC just to clarify.

I checked out As Dusk Falls the other day but I was pretty quickly turned off by the aesthetic and didn't play long. Might dig back into it but it was giving me Tom Goes to the Mayor vibes and that is the most bad thing.

Another game I really enjoyed was Sniper Elite 5. I went back and played 4 as well. I wish 3 was on Gamepass.... I might actually buy that because I want more of the series.

Having a go at the Everspace 2 early access demo - great so far, just playing with a mouse and keyboard right now, I'll get the HOTAS out of storage sometime and will also try to find my wireless dongle for the PC so I can use a controller, it's in a drawer somewhere...
Also spotted Sins of a Solar Empire, loved that game back in the day, I'll give it another go once I'm done with Endless Space 2.
