No. Raw will always be the flagship. Edge returning, retribution, Lesnar the bigger stories always happen there, it will always be Raw. Roman’s heel turn is bigger than all of that. But I’d say they are on equal footing, with Smackdown leading ATM

I was excited about SmackDown's debut on FOX and they gave that show instead. I don't know if I can expect anything more outside the LOL factor from this show. Hopefully they give Murphy a decent shot at life.

Maybe not the A show but it's always been the better show during the brand splits.
I can name only a couple times RAW was better to watch than SD during both brand splits and even more times where both were a drag.
But in 2002, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2016, 2018 and 2020 the show was infinitely better than RAW.
Only times I remember RAW being better were 2005, 2008 and 2017.
Both shows suffered in 2004, 2007, 2010 and 2019.

Right now, yes it is. As said, they're pushing harder with Fox than they are with USA.
Raw has the history, of course, but at this point it's Smackdown being pushed at the A-show.

I dunno I consider fan interest one of the big factors. Raw threads are like 3 times bigger than Smackdown ones, its not just because of the extra hour. Its not just on the board its other websites and youtube etc. Smackdown has always been an afterthought.

But I’d say they are on equal footing, with Smackdown leading ATM I don't agree with that at all and I think the fact that it is on Smackdown is the reason it is happening at all. Raw is the A show in Vince's mind, and he is the only one in the audience whose opinion matters.

Eh, most of the RAW live threads are the same handful of people shitting on literally everything happening on the show week after week. SmackDown is generally more well received and people usually have fewer positive things to say than negative. I imagine it's the same elsewhere. And yeah I'd definitely say SmackDown is the A show, they have focused way more on that recently.

Nah, it's NXT. Smackdown is pretty goddamned close, though.
RAW is the F show, as in RAW can simply f*** off.

A thought I just had on this; I can't remember any time in the history of brand splits in WWE that SD main evented 3 dual brand PPVs in a row, possibly 4 with Jey vs. Reigns I Quit on Sunday.

The 'A show' would be the one in which Vince McMahon puts in the most effort, takes most control, & ensures his vision comes across the most.
Out of the three shows WWE puts out weekly, Raw is by far the worst.
I can absolutely believe it's the A show.
