Adam Page. been a fan of his since i first saw him live at WrestleReunion 2012 in Los Angeles, while others viewed him so highly that when he was revealed as the newest member of the Bullet Club it was the death knell for the group.

Nexus not being booked to win a world title. Barrett was doing some good mic work and was a fun foil for Cena, but he wasn’t WWE Champion material at that point in his career. Bryan I feel was the one NXT rookie that year ready for a top belt because of the ROH run.
I wasn’t too infuriated with them losing at Summerslam or eventually getting foiled. They had an amazing debut, but I didn’t see it even then as an nWo style landscape-changing stable. The Raw where Cena damned the stip and bought a ticket didn’t bury them IMO, I loved it. I thought it was a clever babyface move. That’s the kind of proactive thing WWE’s heroes need more of.

I'll contribute to my own thread now that I'm not falling asleep.
Jinder's title win. The reign itself was handled poorly at every turn but the initial win was great. I was more excited to see where they'd go with it than I've been for anything since then, though I had just started watching again a few months earlier and didn't know about the company's track record of bungling things or the India deal.
One of the biggest complaints was that he was hotshot to the title but I think it's something you can do once in a blue moon -- I look at it like athletes who come out of nowhere to go on crazy runs.

HHH's reign of terror. I f***ing love HHH so much. I'm not a huge Triple H fan but I did like that run. It was like an 80's NWA champion in WWE. The 20 minute promos were a little much, but damn the matches delivered. Those Triple H matches still seem to be the template of what a modern day WWE title match is.

The only part of the reign of terror I didn't like was the Booker T feud because of the racism framing of it. The racist shit would've been fine if HHH lost but...he didn't, so...yeah, inexcusable. Beyond that, HHH absolutely brought it with every match. I know people like to talk shit on him and say that he's not a legend, but in my eyes he is. He's one of my favorites of all time and he put his all into just about every match he ever wrestled.

Baron Corbin.
I'll always enjoy him. And it was the right move to have him beat Kurt Angle in Angle's final match.

He's a "hometown boy" for me, in that he's from the same state I'm from (and general area I currently live), so I have to support him by obligation. Doesn't hurt that I genuinely enjoy him and I think he's extremely entertaining.

I dug the Misfits in Action. I mean, General Rection/Hugh G. Rection was a terrible name but the commentators usually just called him Hugh Morrus, but I liked the idea of the tenured midcarders forming a stable, I liked the military theme, and my high school aged self couldn't get enough of Major Gunns.
I was never sure why Lash LeRoux was with them instead of the New Blood though, he hadn't been around as long as a bunch of the people in it.

Stardust
I maintain to this day it was a great character, but undermined by the commentators mocking it.

Does Boogeyman count? He’s probably more fondly remembered than some of the other insane gimmicks, but some of his segments were awesome and hilarious, and I do recall some fans being put off by him at the time.

Randy Orton beating Christian for the World title Imo, that feud and the heel turn did more for Christian than a 3 month lame duck title run would have Really? It watered Christian down considerably, and he wound up being pushed down the card to IC status as soon as it ended. Hell, his two ECW reigns were more legit. That's not to say I didn't enjoy the Orton/Christian feud though, and in my head there should never have been a Summerslam pay-off, Orton's arc was complete with the Money in the Bank DQ loss.

I get the frustration of Christian losing the title right away but they really did have long-term planning in mind here. I still watch their matches all the time. Also thechase Christian was always going to be in the mid-card.

Stardust I maintain to this day it was a great character, but undermined by the commentators mocking it. I did like his pairings with Barrett and Ascension, and the theme. Cody is better off without WWE now, even if he does bleed too much and go overboard with bells and whistles in his own promotion.

I enjoyed Wrestlemania IX. It was the first time outdoors, and between that and the Roman theme, had a great visual to it. I also liked the finish with Hogan winning. Honestly if Bret had won, there would have been very few credible heel challengers for him left, aside from Luger and Bam Bam.
Mordecai and Kevin Thorn were both gimmicks I liked, and Kevin Fertig was getting better in the ring.
While I didn’t think it was good, I didn’t find the Old Day as blatantly offensive as most people.

I don't see it that way Orton and Christian were tasked with being the main event of SD and they did that all Summer. Christian would had gotten two title defenses and lost it to Mark Henry. To keep it a buck, he only got the World title thanks to Edge leaving and instead of a reign where he is living off "Hey guys remember Edge" he got to be his own man and stand toe to toe with Randy and losing in competitive matches to the point he snapped It wasn't about being the little buddy to Edge anymore as much as it was about I waited too f***ing long to have it taken away from me. His ECW title reign was great but we are kidding ourselves if we think he was getting that type of title run after getting thrown in a title match due to Edge retiring If Edge didn't retire and they got the feud with him and Christian it would have played out the exact same way
