I never seen that Jericho botch and Holy f***ing shit thank God he was alright. That and the time the rope broke against Booker T and thankfully he was going for the drop kick instead of a lionsault

yeesh, that Savage bump could have ended badly. It did. It f***ed up Macho's knees and he eventually had to take 10 months off to have two surgeries on them.

I wish he had time for 1996. That was my first PPV. Maybe next October

Which sucked because he was honestly on a hell of a run. He was never the same when he came back for a variety of reasons but the injuries played a major part.

yeesh, that Savage bump could have ended badly. I don't think you can blame it all on Hogan, though. Hogan and Piper were feet away from where Savage landed, I put it on the sorry ass cage. That freaking pathetic wobbly cage didn't allow for Savage to get his footing to get a decent jump. Hogan could have moved closer as Savage was coming down, but you can't ignore WCW ineptitude with that cage.

Yeah, watch as savage jumps the entire cage starts crumpling under his weight... the first thing I thought was... WCW you literally had a billionaires checkbook to play with you couldn't maybe make a stronger cage if you want someone to jump off of it?

Did I once hear Piper say in a shoot interview that he never wanted to win the world title? He wanted his legacy to be the greatest wrestler to never win the title. Hence, this would be a reason for him to lobby for a non title match whenever he was going over.

Hence, this would be a reason for him to lobby for a non title match whenever he was going over. He’s said he never wanted any title because then the promoter had something on you. You couldn’t just walk off if you had the belt and Piper always wanted to retain the ability to just leave.
