Sit Cam Newton for the second half. If the Patriots somehow come back to win, then it’ll be because of Jarrett Stidham and they’ll have something in the second-year backup. If they lose, they’ll at least give the benchwarmer some valuable reps under center. But Newton doesn’t deserve another snap in this game and his health shouldn’t be risked in a game that’s not capable of being won. Cam looks like he did at the beginning of last year. Totally washed with awful body language to go with it.

I don’t care if he plays at his 2015 MVP levels for the rest of the season, games like this week and last week are why I’d be very leery of the Patriots giving him a multi-year extension. He’s shown us entirely too much evidence over the past five seasons that he’s a middle-of-the-road quarterback who can occasionally show flashes of brilliance but is closer to being a backup than an upper echelon starter.

This Niners defense is missing 3 of their top D-Linemen, 2 of their top linebackers, their best corner, and both their starting safety’s.

Why on Earth do you think Cam would get a multi year deal with the way he’s played? He’s slower, indecisive and is making dumb decisions And to be fair his wide reviving Corp is putrid to the fact they’re arguably the least talented group I’ve ever seen

Was hoping it was only a sprain after seeing the replay, but might be worse. Time for Hasty to be another no/name Niners back to look really good under Shanahan.

So will people finally be confident enough to say New England sucks and isn't a playoff team?
