Shame it was down at all, it was a great show.
Vince's need to hurt AEW is just hurting NXT.

No need to post about this every week. Eh, for basic inquiry why not?

No need to post about this every week. Eh, for basic inquiry why not? Yeah, I try not to focus too much on ratings myself (though I am a Nielsen panelist), but there are people here who find it interesting and enjoy talking about it. Don't see the problem.

While I don't put a ton of stock into ratings I like seeing how the shows are doing with a decent portion of the world since I know now everyone has a Nielson Box.
NXT not charting for the third week in a row is a sight to behold however, held from last week but the show gets shoved off a cliff when there's a ton of competition.
Shame moving it to Tuesday seems like a ludacris idea to them...

Seems that NXT viewership decreased after Q6, so main event was likely the lowest point of the show.

No need to post about this every week. Why not? Its certainly topical and we talk ratings all the time.

No need to post about this every week. We have weekly ratings threads for Raw, Smackdown, NXT, and AEW Dynamite. We had them for TNA Impact and WWE's ECW. It's a thing that's been going on in this forum since I've been posting here and that was back in 2006. The weekly ratings discussion has been a part of wrestling discourse since the Monday Night Wars.
Nielsen ratings themselves are increasingly irrelevant and obsolete. But it's an odd thing to complain about.

Fair enough, it was discussed maturely here as well.

So, typical numbers for NXT then?
This has been their average for a long time now as they haven't had a massive drop in months which is good for them considering how injured their roster has been

I love Thatch but NXT viewers can't seem to stand the guy... I think that comes down to who is left watching. For my money, most people who like the wrestling and work rate side of it will have migrated to AEW as the live watch show, as their focus is generally more on great in ring action and less story (though they are getting better at that) which leaves the viewers left for NXT to be the ones more interested in typical WWE stuff. Thatcher is a great worker, but if you dont actually care about ring action and just want high spots and story, he's dull.

I wonder a bit about Thatcher, if a hot angle or something could do him some good. Much as I detest Riddle, I feel like the stuff with him was unfortunately also the most compelling Thatcher has been.

Like when he first went to EVOLVE he had a lot of hype but when he won the title all of his momentum died... and this was back when EVOLVE was pretty good. Don't get me wrong great talent but if rating breakdowns are to be Believed he and Dexter Lumis are just not catching on

Don't get me wrong great talent but if rating breakdowns are to be Believed he and Dexter Lumis are just not catching on If I'm not mistaken, most of Lumis's matches and segments were gaining viewers or holding steady, the only bad one was that long match against Austin Theory. And given what we've seen with Theory's segments, that's more of the fans not liking him. Thatcher, yeah, this guy isn't bringing in people. He's a great wrestler, but there are times when I'm thinking, just move on to the next segment. He's in such a nothing spot/angle right now. There's no build going on, like one of the guys Thatch is bullying standing up to him, or somebody in the back telling him to knock that shit off.

I have to wonder when they pull Thatcher from being a featured performer. It's clear he just doesn't work for people as he is.
