Dang. The only team I maybe like a bit or even tolerate that is left is Atlanta. I loathe the other 3 so much I'm probably done with the rest of the playoffs. Highlights it is then!
One of my friends wives is from a huge family of Giants fans and they are supposedly so heartbroken he is walking on eggshells (lol). Luckily for me, when my team got blown-out and got eliminated I was at work so I just asked "Should I bother watching it?" when I got back and was quickly told no - So I didn't have to suffer like they did!
I'm already interested in what the off-season holds for so many teams.

I take back everything good I said about Doval too. Dude hit Turner with his fastball and reverted back to his early season form of being afraid of his own stuff and threw 14 straight sliders. And then lost. Calm Man pissed all over himself in front of the entire baseball world.
(He’ll be fine. I’m still salty, still taking it out on everyone else, and he just chose one helluva time to have his first ever meltdown as a closer)

It's kinda like a blatant holding call on a 70-yard Hail Mary. Was it the wrong call? Yeah. Does it matter? Not really. Flores hit .073 in the series and already came up very empty in a big situation earlier in the game. He is a big hole in that line-up and I'd bet the house against him extending the game there. Still should have had the chance tho. That's a crap way of looking at it. "Screw 'em because they weren't likely to come through anyway." What if the umpires had that mentality when Francisco Cabrera, he of a whopping 10 at-bats in 1992, walked to the plate in the ninth inning of Game 7 of the 1992 NLCS? "Ah, screw him anyway, he wouldn't have driven in Justice and Bream."

It's not gonna be the same when Correa leaves the team.

It's not gonna be the same when Correa leaves the team. Way things look, Altuve was the one who started it all as far as call ups and will be the last one standing

I’m not expecting the Red Sox to win this series. It is what it is. But to lose it because of Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa - two of the slimiest, most unapologetic, most shameless of that cheating Astros bunch - just gnaws at me. Like, why couldn’t it be Michael Brantley and Chas McCormick?

What gets me is... as soon as Correa gets elsewhere, I'll bet you those fans will immediately forget about his involvement with the Astros and pretend that never happened.
They hate Houston that much.

It just seems like Houston can hit themselves through any matchup.

This series is looking interesting, but man it must suck to get that Kiké performance and lose.

Did Cora get confused and think this was Little League and everybody had to play? Why was Danny Santana hitting? Santana is supposed to be the Designated Runner, nothing more. I could pick a random poster from this board and they'll be just as likely to get a hit.
Any why was Sawamura pitching the 8th? He wasn't good enough to make the roster last series but now he can pitch the 8th inning of a close game? He gave the Astros a much needed insurance run and it's a minor miracle that the Astros didn't get more.
Hopefully Cora got the dumb moves out of his system and is now ready to manage the rest of the series.

My initial feeling was "I really don't want Houston vs. LA in the Series".
But now one of the alternatives is the freaking Braves making it.
So...eh, screw it, Houston vs. LA would at least most likely be the best quality matchup, so I'll suck it up if it happens.

F*** you Fox for trying to make Houston "villain" tag something of a tag line I know it's gonna be stuck with us forever, but I am sick and tired of talking heads going "how evil are the Astros, and how would a Houston Astros World Series victory be a threat to domestic security?" or some nonsense like that.
