I know the crowd aren’t allowed to cheer etc at the moment, but did they seem extra dead for Wato when he won?? They were going crazy when Uemura had the Boston crab, but then nothing.

Jeff Cobb is the mystery partner.

O-Khan has new gear, to better match with his new tag partner: JEFF COBB.
Also, one thing that's under-appreciated about NJPW is that they actually have entrance videos.

Figured Cobb/Khan had to win here.
That was a squash though.

tanahashi's gonna have a rough time getting through this tournament.
I'm not surprised we're seeing shorter matches today because of the 10 match card.

Cobb seems like he'd make way more sense as a face gaijin, but ah well. So, he's in Empire, then? Or just teaming with Candy O-Corn?

I’m digging Robbie’s theme. Anyone know what it is??

I liked that finish, the 450 landed on the leg, so it was followed by a leg submission. You don't often see top-rope moves that target limbs, so I enjoyed it.

When Taichi and Zack won the titles, I said they should reenact Taichi’s entrance video but with Zack in Miho’s place.

I remember Mutoh moonsaulting onto Jushin Liger's leg to build to the Figure Four, or PAC doing the Black Arrow to Hangman Page's right before a Rings of Saturn.

I'm really glad the rest of the tour is alternating between each tournament. I'd gotten too used to the more streamlined G1 cards.

Surprised they didn’t have EVIL pin Shingo to setup a Never championship match.
