Lot of acronyms there, but I could somewhat see it. AEW and the NWA already have a somewhat chummy relationship.
Dark is great for getting some unsigned talent some time to shine, but I could see the NWA becoming what ECW was to the WWE where it's got a direct pipeline to AEW, just without contracts mandating AEW is where you end up.

Depends on Corgans ego really, as i think the NWA can serve as that second show. But Billy gotta know his role fully this time

NWA really has everything to lose and everything to gain with this partnership because of their situation. So Billy would be smart to be nice.

I feel like this relationship will weaken slightly when the pandemic ends. So I don't see nwa becoming a feeder system.

I could easily see them splitting the difference in a way. Many NWA talents (or, at least, whoever's left since a lot of contracts have expired) and champs could work both, while Corgan keeps the Worlds heavyweight title exclusive to shows that his brand is co-promoting.
Hell, that's practically the way it's been working out anyway.

Doesn't seem unlikely. The NWA was kind of hurting to be profitable before the pandemic, so the association would probably benefit them - even if it's just borrowing lower-tier AEW wrestlers who could use the reps.
I also wouldn't be surprised if they mostly keep it to the women, and discontinue it when AEW regains their access to AAA and TJPW. But then, both promotions seem to benefit from splitting that particular difference there - the NWA got by on a miniscule women's roster with a high quality-per-performer ratio and some good booking, while AEW has a bench of inexperienced rookies who could use the development.

NWA really only exists in name only at the moment. They partnered with UWN for that Prime Time Wrestling show. The Rosa vs Kelly and Rosa vs. Deeb matches made some waves. But the shows are pretty forgettable, UWN is building towards having their own world champion, but still have used NWA title matches to get some buzz. All the MWA titles but the world title have changed hands on the show.
They keep saying powerrr is coming back, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. Though powerrr actually is one of the few shows that seeks custom made for an empty arena.

If NWA was smart, but as others have said. With Corgan who the f*** knows. I feel like he could get in the way and cause AEW unnecessary trouble.

Virtually all of the NWA contracts are up. Must only be Aldis, Drake and a few others left. Belle has gone now.

It's a mutually beneficial relationship. It's financially sound for NWA since they weren't exactly raking in the dough. It also brings the NWA back into some kind of relevance in the mainstream they haven't really had since their partnership with TNA. And since Tony's a big wrestling fan, he's probably pleased as punch that his barely-a-year-old promotion has a partnership with a group with such a storied history like the NWA even if they're a shell of what they used to be. Having the association with NWA also gives AEW some more legitimacy as the spiritual successor to WCW.
AEW also seems willing to play nice with other companies, which is how they've been able to get people from NJPW and Impact on their vignettes, so they have that going for them. Only way I can see this partnership not working out is if Billy Corgan screws it up.

They legit maybe have eight guys still under contract and like two females.
It only really exists as a name, a few leftover contracted talents from Powerrr, a small tape library, and like four titles.

It's a good thing. Given their relative strength, AEW could quite easily just stripmine the indies and pretend they don't exist, but instead they're letting them showcase their talent, give them more than just a passing mention.
I know people look down their nose at Corgan's NWA, but the guy is trying to rebuild it to some sort of respectability, and if AEW want to help, super! More places that aren't the WWE can only be a good thing for wrestling. I'd rather guys like Corgan and Kahn try to co-operate and grow the sport than squabble over the size of their slice of a shrinking pie.

I'm probably reaching, here... but the Khan family owns real sports teams. The NFL recruits from college, college recruits from high school, etc. Fan though he is, TK also has to know it's good business sense to either help the keep the on in the lower levels that feed the bigger machine, or at the least, not try to stamp them out.

They will have to rebuild their roster a bit. Right now it's good partnership. With AEW allowed to use Thunder Rosa. While NWA title gets exposure on AEW. But that's all I think it will be.

I imagine that a lasting relationship is to both of their benefit, but moreso NWA just likely wants to keep their name relevant for the time being, and AEW doesn't exactly mind anything that gives them potential "special attractions".

Why does everything have to be a new version of an old thing?
Can't the relationship between AEW and NWA just be what it is?

"I am not the man who accepts a torch to be handed down to me from an organization that died, RIP, 7 years ago."- Shane Douglas, 26 years ago.
I just find it funny that somehow there's always someone around to keep the NWA brand on life support.
