I haven't heard of this. Are any of the original cast involved? It would be awesome to see Belding. Not that I’ve seen it but I believe they all are. Zach is Governor or some shit and they fully acknowledge Zach Morris is Trash because that dude is involved with the show. How so?

i went into it with not alot of expectations. I really enjoyed all 10 episodes. I feel like the characters are WAY over the top, but they know this and they do it in way where they are still likeable. Im hoping for a season to. Really impressed with the girl they hired to be the star.

Their son goes to Bayside, where Slater and Jessie are members of the faculty. Lisa pops up during the season as well, from what I understand. I don’t know if Belding is in it, but they managed to bring back Max, which is insane.

I’m on episode 8. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Pleasantly surprised to hear the old theme song and it seems to be centered around slater and Jessie with returns of Zack and Kelly.
But man, they flanderized them big time. Zack I could see, but Kelly was never a vapid bimbo. She’s written like Gwenyth Paltrow as far as the first half of the episode so far
The class time capsule? That was already dug up at the end of the original series. If anything, there was a new class one that was supposed to be opened in 2020 haha
Also, they didn’t explain the falling out why Zack didn’t want to include slater in the holiday gift card cycle

I misread that as him not including "his sister." Which prepared me to once again use That Meme.

Well it's happened. Showgirls reference. Which fits. Remember Zack and Kelly's wedding took place in Las Vegas where Jessie showed up at the very end. So, it could have happened after that.

Well it's happened. Showgirls reference. That episode had me crying. This sequel series has no right being as good as it is. It's not great, but it's entertaining, and they've poked fun at the shit that the original series did, and this series is doing. Even Zack referencing going to bed one night as a middle school student in Indiana and waking up as a high school student in California.

Very disappointed by that poor excuse of a memorial for Dustin Diamond

Very disappointed by that poor excuse of a memorial for Dustin Diamond I don't know what they did, but as cold as it may seem...the guy wasn't very well liked by the other cast members, to the point of being intentionally left out of cast reunions at the request of the others. Can't say that I blame them, since most of his life post-show was spent spreading disgusting lies and rumors about them to try to turn a buck. And then, y'know...the other stuff he did. People tend to want to improve people's image after they die, but it doesn't erase what an asshole they were in life in a lot of people's minds.

It was a tribute to Screech and not Dustin Diamond and I think that was deliberate.

Did they explain Screech's passing? I'm gonna guess one of his experiments blew up.

It kind of reminds me of various WWE tributes....probably Randy Savage first and foremost... i.e. "he's gone now, so NOW we can talk about what a great guy he was.."

All we got was "The thing at The Max" I understand that Dustin wasn't the greatest person outside of the show. But from Good Morning Miss Bliss all the way through the new class. Screech was there. Almost 13 years,at least once a week. For the character to get swept under the rug by his robot serving spaghetti burgers. It kind if bugged me. Screech WAS saved by the bell to me. They could have at least had Belding (BTW, where is he?) Show up to say he died returning from space or something. But nope "The thing at the max" is what we get.

To be fair, while I understand your feelings, the guy took a steaming crap on the rest of the cast with his book and various interviews. It's hard NOT to take that personally, even if he did express some remorse near the end.

It's hard NOT to take that personally, even if he did express some remorse near the end. Yeah, I'll admit it got increasingly hard to defend him as years went on and that really sucked. And I know he claimed his book was ghostwriten but the stories had to have blossomed from something so I understand the cast's issues. But from a character stand point. He's the only one to be in every variation of the show. They could have at least given the fans some sort of closure. But we don't even know what happened. All we know is Max dedicated a burger to him
