If anyone was curious, it was the 8th highest selling PS4 download last month in the US and Canada.
It didn’t rank in Europe. I had to carry the torch for us!

So the Atlus Online Customer Survey ended yesterday in Japan which you can see the full thing here and seems to hint that, at the very least, they're thinking about doing more Persona ports for Xbox, Playstation, PC and Switch. Whether anything comes from it, who knows but it is interesting to note that Persona 4 Golden is no longer listed as an option for some of the later questions about porting. Hmmm....

They were following the same order of character focuses on palaces and jails a little too similarly (Palace #1 and Jail #1 were both more Ann-focused. Palace #2 and Jail #2 were more Yusuke-focused.) Good to see Jail #3 shakes that up a bit by having more of a Haru focus instead of Makoto like Palace #3 did.

Had to pick this up while I had the chance.

I can't help but wonder if I'm the only one who noticed Osaka's City theme sounding more than a bit familiar to a battle theme in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne.
Speaking of music, the original music in this game slaps.

Until next time, Phantom Thieves! *tears begin to form* I’ve stopped playing because I spent a lot of time and need to do other things before leveling up but a part of me thinks I’m doing it to avoid saying goodbye to the Thieves for, likely, the last time in a “mainline” game.

I spent the past two weeks trying to delay the inevitable for that same reason. I finally had to do it lol.

Just finished this earlier today.
My one major complaint is that the first three dungeons are far too similar to each other in terms of overall structure, which combined with the initial difficulty curve makes the game seem really repetitive and grindy. P5's dungeons were huge but you had numerous different plot-based reasons to leave and come back - in Strikers, the first three dungeons are all "get the three keys, then leave, then come back and fight a boss, then leave, then send the calling card." It really could've used some more variety in the early goings.
Beyond that though I loved it. The combat, when it clicks, is a ton of fun, and the overall gameplay loop is very engrossing. But mostly I loved Strikers because it felt wonderful getting to hang out with these characters again, and the writing and overall plot were, IMO, better executed than in vanilla P5 and maybe even better than Royal. Plus it ended on a pitch-perfect note.
9/10

Ok, I’ve decided to finally finish the final boss and finish the main part of the game.
I’m going to miss those goofballs.

I love Persona, but I just can’t get into this game.

I should probably make more of a concentrated effort to get into it but yeah, so far I haven't really been that invested in it. Not gotten far in admittedly but kind of has this feeling of, "If I wanted to play Persona 5 I could do that, if I wanted to play a Warriors game I could play Hyrule Warriors or Fire Emblem Warriors." Feel like the mixture of the two is kind of resulting in just being worse than both to me.

I beat this game a few weeks ago and I personally thought it was a great continuation of the overall Persona 5 storyline while doubling as a slickly produced 50 hour long Japanese tourism video.
Despite having the Omega Force name on the tin I really started to enjoy the game more when I stopped playing it like a button masher like Warriors series and adjusted my play style to something more akin to Devil May Cry (IE: lots of dodging and countering, which I believe was the developers intent.)
And I won't give too much away but the boss of the Osaka section is one of my favorite boss encounters in the entire Persona series due to it's gimmick and the music it plays during the battle.

I was going at this game a good pace for a bit but decided to finish Royal again first and then move on. Was really difficult not to romance Makota once again but went with Futaba this time.

Like, I absolutely understand if it doesn't appeal and some of the design stuff isn't perfect (doing the challenges and the descriptions aren't quite as fleshed out as they should be got really annoying sometimes) but to me, it's somehow the sort of game I wanted it to be, which was a follow up to Persona 5 without it taking the Dancing "You'll forget all about this when you wake up" cop-out. I have to give some love to the Kyoto boss which I do wish they did a bit more with than they did but it was still a really cool idea to try.
