So I've just come back to AEW after taking a break from wrestling as a whole really since the lackluster NJPW Dominion show.
Watched Dynamite again this week after hearing about the Sting and Impact angle. And I'm wondering about Hobbs and Stark. Cant say I like Stark's look but Hobbs has a certain something that I'm into. Was wondering what others thought of them?

Starks is one of the breakout wrestling stars of the year, as far as I am concerned. Gorgeous man who can go in the ring and on the mic. Also shines utterly on Dark just about every week between good squash matches and commentary - it often feels less like they don't want him on TV and more like they want him to have room to look big time on Dark.
Hobbs is just plain fun. Much like Eddie Kingston, he demonstrates that just because a wrestling style is old, doesn't mean it doesn't have a place in the modern landscape. Guy comes out wrestling like a mid-90's Japanese power wrestler and it turns out that that style looks as awesome as ever, especially with a dude that has some natural charisma and the execution to back it up.

Starks is a main eventer in the making and will be one of their top stars for years to come.
Hobbs is pretty great too. He has tons of potential.

Starks reminds me of the Rock. Hated face Starks in NWA, heel Starks in AEW is GLORIOUS.

I think both are dudes with a ton of potential to be legit stars. Hobbs also looks really comfortable in the heel role after I was initially a little disappointed in the turn, as AEW lacks for face hosses. Though Archer looks to be going tweener and I can see the seeds planted for Wardlow's face turn.

Starks and Hobbs are the right sort of people to have in a heel stable. Starks is a charismatic dynamic performer who can work as a hype man and as a worker and Hobbs is a Tonka Truck in human form.

Crazy. Anyway, if they want Brian Cage to be the big singles guy of Team Taz, moving Hobbs into a tag role with Starks while both continue being big forces on the singles is a sweet idea. Just give me Hobbs murdering more people with spinebusters on Dark.

I'm really curious how Hobbs and Cage would look throwing grown men around like children personally.

Starks gets better and better. Primarily on the mic and w/ the charisma factor. I do wonder if he’ll ever put on mass to try and get taken more seriously as a solo act but eh..doesn’t really need it. I’m loving Hobbs since he joined Team Tazz. Before that it was “Cool. He’s an impressive big ‘ol boi” but he’s really slipped into the heel role in nearly every facet: charisma, in ring work and look. He makes Cage look like such an after-thought. Hoping for big things with him in the future. Starks reminds me of the Rock. Hated face Starks in NWA, heel Starks in AEW is GLORIOUS. He doesn’t stop reminding of Rock either. Guy won me over first with his Darby impersonation. Guy oozes heel charisma.

They're both pretty great, though I do think Starks could stand to step a bit more into his own identity. In a lot of ways his gimmick feels like Sammy Guevara but slightly bigger.
Then there's Cage who doesn't seem to have a reason for being.

I like Starks' interactions with Taz on Dark (not having cable, Dark is all I can watch, and admittedly, I just pick matches kind of at random once they're all uploaded separately), but he could stand to have a signature 'hook' to his act.

Starks is absolute money, he oozes charisma and can go in the ring. Sky is the limit for him.
Hobbs just needs to kill chumps every week. It will never get old.

I'm really interested in this stable in general, they're slowly becoming one of the best parts of Dynamite for me.
Is Taz's son any good? They seem to be teasing him joining.

I wonder sometimes if Starks is going to be the one to break away from the group, given they have him bicker with Taz and have Taz get impatient with him sometimes calling his matches if he makes errors in judgment, or if they're just selling the idea that Ricky's biggest weakness is he loses his temper and lack discipline. That's definitely been the story of his rivalry with Darby, where Darby's a counter wrestler, and has baited him into mistakes.
