Cody seems interested in accepting Avalon's open challenge he's holding.

Just a miscellaneous thought that I didn't think to post last week - Shanna made a Good choice switching out the release dragon suplex for a tiger suplex as her finisher. It's really hard to sell the less dangerous looking version of the dragon suplex as a believable finisher when the world champion uses the nastiest possible version as a signature mid-match move. In contrast, her little habit of holding on to the tiger suplex bridge for a few seconds after the finish shows off what makes her execution special, to the point where it's suddenly the most interesting thing about her.

Excaliber and Taz just making jokes with each other may be my favorite thing right now.
I am loving the women's matches on the show, it seems like everyone of them is intense and hard hitting. I'm super into Red Velvet and Ivelisse, and happy to see them every week. Tesha Price and Lindsay Snow has also been super impressive. I think both of them are special.
On the men's side Jurassic Express was the most fun match. With Marko Stunt's moves, his amazing song on Britt's show, and Jericho telling him to write a book, I honestly am sort of interested in him now. That spot where he stood on top of Magnum really made me think he has a lot going on.

God help me, the pairing with Kiss has made me warm a little toward Janella. Just two mismatched buddies.
Cage still looks like Roidy Robbie Williams and has all the charisma of a ringpost. He can do everything except make me care.
Limelight looked great in defeat, be got a lot of moves in too, probably one of those guys they're looking at as a future signing.
I don't think we need Shida/Rose 3 this close together, they both need far more to do in general though.
Stunt is talented, nice to see that showcased and no jokes about his guitar being a ukulele.
Louie Valley has an infectious smile.
I prefered the Librarian to Leisure Suit Larry, but his heart was never into the gimmick. Given how little has changed between this and that, attire wise, I keep wanting to call him the luberarian.
Always love the Gunn club trolling Tazz, and Aubrey treating Billy like a naughty child.
I mark for Shawn Dean, guy will become a ring general someday.
Ryzin will probably get signed and paired with Luther and Serpentico when they have Trios titles.
Red Velvet continues to impress, shame Brandi will return in the new tear and kill her heat with the little bran bran garbage.

I might just start watching Dark for Taz alone. You should be watching Fade! His best line, Avalon said "For everyone in the back!" and Taz said "In the back, that's the locker room area Excalibur." Just the way he said it had me cracking up.

I like that Caster said that Jon Cruz should wear a mask. Maybe that nice Serpentico fellow could lend him one? Also, I love that they hardly said anything about Nakazawa since, like, what, are they going to embarrass him? What could they possibly say? A lot of people would say Luchasaurus has the best strikes in the company, and he very well might, but Angelico and Red Velvet deserve credit for some really damn good punches. Varsity Blondes over, with their hilariously obvious Guns 'n Roses knockoff theme, has got to be considered a bit of an upset, but it made sense given they were setting up the FTR match, as well as Reynolds and Colt not being a regular unit.

Individual segment views ranking this week (subject to change, obviously) (matches and segments that are very close are grouped together):
Brian Cage vs. Danny Limelight Jurassic Express vs. Falco & Mike Magnum/Waiting Room with Dustin Rhodes and Marko Stunt TH2 vs. Sotheara Chhun & VSK The Acclaimed vs. Michael Nakazawa & Jon Cruz Dark Order vs. Varsity Blondes Nyla Rose vs. Alex Gracia Brandon Cutler vs. Fuego del Sol/Red Velvet vs. Dani Jordyn Shanna vs. Freya the Slaya Pretty Peter Avalon vs. Louie Valle Diamante vs. Tesha Price Ivelisse vs. Skyler Moore Gunn Club vs. Shawn Dean, Sean Maluta, & Ryzin Big Swole vs. Lindsay Snow 10 vs. Aaron Solow Sonny Kiss vs. Baron Black
My speculation (I'm thinking I want to start doing this regularly, 'cuz hey, it's interesting, and posting about it helps keep track of it): the "standard jobbers" bring down the views once they are sufficiently established. It seems like all of the lower-viewed matches are the ones featuring the jobbers that we have seen for quite a few months (Dean, Ryzin, Moore, and Solow especially). Swole vs. Snow is the one that surprises me by being low, but that might just be because the shiny newness has worn off of Lindsay Snow very rapidly.
The Acclaimed and TH2 seemingly did much better than they usually do, though. Makes me wonder how much views on Youtube are correlated with how much someone is getting pushed on Dynamite that week? TH2 may also have gotten the bump from a new wrestler in Chhun. I continue to be interested in how consistently Brian Cage tops the views when he's on Dark - whatever else can be said about the guy (I don't necessarily disagree with the posters who think he's as charismatic as a post), he gets attention with such consistency that it suggests genuine interest in him.
Mostly, I'm just curious what goes into the popularity of a Dark match on Youtube. It may even be that there's a lot of noise in the viewcount as a measurement, so it might not even be that valid a measure. But, so far, some of the patterns are interesting, and I'm intrigued by the question of how much star power vs. novelty factors in to how many views an individual match accrues.
