If people are wondering what’s next for all this, well... Fine I will watch again geez. Well, they actually made me watch Impact again. If this cooperation revives Impact Wrestling, we might see more cross-promotional cooperations in the future.

Kenny and Callis is a good pairing imo. I've always loved Don Callis on promos, and (just my opinion) Kenny is super awkward on the mic. He sounds way too much like he's just performing rather than sounding convincing.
And as much as I dislike him as a wrestler, at least he has a character now that I can root against. And when someone like Page or Mox knocks him down a peg finally, it will be great television.

I will bever get people saying Kenny is bad on the microphone,he has a very unique way of speaking but he sounds very natural and smooth.
But Callis still adds a lot to the actzboth dudes have opposite speaking styles and voices.

I think Kenny has been great on the mic, he's sold the angle with Hangman and his recent full of himself turn perfectly.
Don on the other hand is just weird. Some guy I vaguely know the name of is suddenly a major player? It's like Kevin Kelly or Mike Tennay suddenly being a focus of storyline. So far he's a detraction to me, no reason to care about him as a character (just as a figurehead) and I don't like anything where I have to look up what is going on online.
Of course early days and nothing really against him as a performer, Vince going from announcer to evil owner was weird too.

Was it me or did someone in the crowd shout "Nakazawa!" during Kenny's promo, during the "I didn't get my friends jobs in the company" bit.

He's literally the booker/kayfabe leader of Impact, and if you don't know him, that's on you. Most hardcore wrestling fans (the majority of AEW's audience) have heard of Cyrus the Virus or The Jackyl and even if they haven't "Kenny Omega's mentor and owner of rival company" is a very basic character archetype.

Don Callis really adds the 80’s TV show villain vibe to the act which works with Kenny’s over confident ego maniac shtick.

I do like Callis in the role though cause he does have the Hollywood agent look going for him, and I think Kenny plays off of him very well.
