I canāt quite buy WWE being mad about it because, well, surely they would have known something like this would happen when the promotion for the TNT variety show where heās on a panel with one of the top stars of their rival wrestling show, right?
Like, I know WWE can come off as dumb and not reading the room but they couldnāt be THAT dumb.

I think celebrities should be considered neutral ground. Their appearances are rarely anything long term meaningful, they're just a fun face to see alongside whatever else is on the show. Few people end up turning in just because they're there.

The WWE will use Snoop again in a heartbeat, because celebrities and part timers are bulletproof in their eyes. They want the hint of legitimacy of having that guy you've heard of on their TV brings, without ever letting any of their full time stars become that guy you've heard of because then they'd want to be paid and treated appropriately.

These are the same people that originally thought Total Divas and Raw should have cross promotion and that David Otunga would be loved because of who his wife was.

These are the same people that originally thought Total Divas and Raw should have cross promotion and that David Otunga would be loved because of who his wife was. I mean, the first was kinda sorta mandated by NBC because Total Divas was one of E!ās top shows which makes sense to try and do even if the execution was really lacking. The second was well intentioned but badly executed when you werenāt able to get said wife on the show at all along with said wife hating everything Otunga did with wrestling and faking stuff for divorce proceedings but thatās another issue. But even saying that, with how much WWEās eyed AEW since its inception with talent raids and putting NXT against it, nobody for a second went āWell, this guy is doing a show on TNT with a literal EVP from our rival, we should really be careful about where this will goā? Theyāre dumb but I donāt think theyāre that dumb. Even if there is heat, itās probably from people who probably donāt have any kind of TVs in their house because come on.
