... did the Genie actually create a whole new country, with it's own borders, culture, history, and economy for Aladdin to rule over?
Or somewhere did an actual prince vanish so that Aladdin could assume his identity and try to catfish Jasmine?
In either case Aladdin seems to have taken a remarkably cavalier attitude towards his new responsibilities as a head of state.
Surely there would have been easier ways to try and get laid. Could have just asked the Genie "make me super rich" or something.

They actually did that for the live action remake which, for the faults that thing had, was kind of a nice touch.

I still say that was Aladdin's only wish. Everything that happened in the movie resulted in him becoming a prince, so Al only used one wish.
He made that wish, and everything that happened after were trials him going through to become a prince.

I still say that was Aladdin's only wish. Everything that happened in the movie resulted in him becoming a prince, so Al only used one wish. He made that wish, and everything that happened after were trials him going through to become a prince. Wishing Genie was free is an odd continuation of being being a Prince. And the one he made before he was he was prince. |
