I had just watched No Holds Barred a couple of days ago. I was terrified of this man the first time I ever watched that movie. I sincerely hope that he one day makes it into the WWE Hall of Fame.
RIP Zeus

RIP. I wish he wouldâve found wrestling sooner. Had he learned to properly work, he wouldâve become a very rich man. He had a Sid-like natural presence. He worked like three matches and we still talk about him 30 years later.

One of my favorite Tiny Lister Jr stories was told to me by a friend of mine. Sometime in the late 90s Zeus and Tommy from âMartinâ showed up at a Baltimore strip club so naturally all of the dancers went over to dance for them thinking that theyâre going to give huge tips. The other guys in the club donât like this so they all leave. After a few minutes Zeus and Tommy roll out too leaving the dancers to an almost empty club.
Dude had some iconic/important roles. Deebo is great and his convict role in the Dark Knight was compelling.
RIP

Merged the posts from the thread in Wrest with this one.
RIP. Loved him in Friday and a bunch of other roles.

I know him more for his acting roles than the matches in wwe. I think he was really good in the supporting roles he had in films like Fifth Element, Friday, Dark Knight and an assortment of B movies. He even was the voice of the small con artist fox in zootopia.
RIP

I wonder if Hogan's temporary banishment cost him a HoF induction, certainly celeb wing worthy but anyone other than Hogan inducting him would just be strange and lead to a few elephant in the room collar tugging moments.
RIP, 62 is no age these days.

I think everyone is overlooking Tiny's greatest achievement in life. He was the first black president, ever, and that's how I'm going to remember the man. For the US I think that was James Earl Jones in The Man (1972) But first black president of earth, hell yes.

Heel side of SummerSlam '89? All gone :-( Oh damn. That is sinking in. And RIP to Tiny Lister. I loved his part in The Boondocks.

I don't think it's too far fetched that WWF could have done a Wrestlemania main event between he and Hogan. With the proper months of training it could have worked. I think Warrior and Hogan was really THE only choice but if WWF wanted to wait a few months and give Warrior the title at Summerslam it could have been done. The problem with having a Zeus/Hogan match at WM is that the feud was already long in the works. It would have had to go over four (five counting the movie/match ppv) PPVs in order to make it to WM. The angle wasn't capable of that. IIRC it even went as far back to an April or May 1989 cage match with Bossman and Hogan. If it started at Survivor Series and then Royal Rumble with them fighting each other but no decisive pin, it could have been extended one more PPV.

According to Variety and AP he had to withdraw from a movie a few days before his death with Covid symptoms; he beat it earlier in the year. This f***ing pandemic.
RIP Galactic President Lindberg.

Him being the president in The Fifth Element is the role I always most associated him with. Dude was fantastic. His facial expressions to any given situation in that movie are priceless. RIP to a great character actor. 62 is way too young to go with today's medical advances.

His grounded exasperation at dealing with the absurdity of a giant, evil fireball heading towards earth rounds the movie out so well.
