So I keep this message on my computer that at the end of the year, Adobe will no longer support Flash Player, and on January 12th it will block use of the Flash Player, and gives me an option to Uninstall.
So what do I do now, what do I replace it with?

You don't really replace it with anything per se, because most websites and games won't use it moving forward and have replaced it with HTML5 or other things that don't require a specific installer.
I'll mostly miss zombo.com, but I'm sure whoever owns it (or some random fan) will make a non-Flash replacement.

So I remove my Flash Player, I will still be able to watch videos on You Tube and other sites.

You probably won't even notice a change, Youtube and the likes have switched away from Flash a fair while back and your browser has probably also been blocking it by default for a while.

The only time I've had to use Flash for anything the last few years is if I wanted to listen to a couple of radio simulcasts on my desktop. ESPN Radio still uses a Flash plug-in for some reason for that.

Wonder how it's going to affect flashgame sites like Kongregate and Newgrounds. Newgrounds have been making this known and it seems no one's been using flash for their games in quite some time and I've seen a few others reupload games under a new program. I imagine there'll have to clear out a lot of the older stuff as well, when the time comes.

only site I know that I go to that will be affected by it is Neopets, and they're slowly converting things over. It's mot much to be concerned about.

The good: the Internet Archive is saving as much Flash as they can. They use a Rust based Flash emulator known as Ruffle.

I still have some old videos and probably games as well, saved as swf files.

YouTube discontinued use of Flash almost six years ago. Man, I can remember when Flash was being hyped as the future of the Internet. I was working in web design at the time and almost every potential client requested their site to be built in Flash, just like every big corporate site at the time.

I was working in web design at the time and almost every potential client requested their site to be built in Flash, just like every big corporate site at the time. There was that grim period in probably the early/mid 2000s when every website was this ghastly Flash monstrosity that often slowed computers down to a crawl, I seem to recall the term for it being Flashturbation. I had a friend who learned Flash then tried to make a Geocities website with it, except if it got one hit the Flash caned all the bandwidth immediately and rendered it useless.
It's the end of an era, but given that most things phased Flash out a long time ago I won't be affected. But it is a little bit sad. A little bit.

Have Homestar Runner made plans to convert their website? Yeah, most of the videos are on youtube, but what about the games?

Apparently people are already making programs and extensions for Flash. I can keep playing Disney Channel games from 2005.
