Didn’t Simpsons Arcade get a mobile version and an Xbox Live Arcade port?
(Granted, Nerd did specify he was talking about the at-the time ports)

Fun fact: it also was a PS+ game back in the day. A not so fun fact: you literally cannot download it again even if you have it. Like me. 😢

Still have it on my PS3, but I don’t have a controller that functions well enough to play it right now

I may not know much about the Simpsons as most others here but what I do know confuses me a bit: -Did those Radioactive Man villains in the game (like the crab guy and the lava man) debut in some form of material earlier than the comics? The game came out in December 1992, most of the Simpsons related comics came out in 1993 (including the Radioactive Man comic that I thought debuted all these characters).
Only thing I could guess at is the game developers talking with the comic division at the time or did these two characters appear in any Radioactive Man-related scenes in the TV series at the time?

So my dad never got us Christmas presents growing up, that was always my moms job.
So one year he says he’s buying presents this year.
So the gift I open up is Super Mario Kart.
I shout WE’RE GETTING A SUPER NINTENDO!!!
My brother looks at my dad and says “That’s for the wrong system...”
My dad face cringes and says “ohhh.... shit.”
We didn’t have much money growing up so I realized a SNES wasn’t coming our way.
So my dad took us to Meijer to return the game. He let us pick out two games to make up for it.
Those games were....
Bartman meets Radioactive Man WWF Steel Cage Challenge
Ever since then I’ve made it my goal as a father to make my own son understand how some kids just have to go without, to be thankful for his PS4. Because growing up I was stuck with that crap.

When I grew up, never heard much about those Simpsons games. Only ones I remember from before the SNES games were Escape From Camp Deadly and Krusty's Fun House.
Wondering if those would make for good future AVGN episodes.

Dr. Crab was mentioned in Three Men and a Comic book. Swamp Hag was in Bart's Friend falls in love. think Braino and Lava Man might have been made for this game though

I had it on Game Gear. Yeah, it was putrid. Also, fun fact since the game was brought up, last year I went to a barcade with friends and spent an hour beating and getting the high score on The Simpsons Arcade Game. Fun time all around.

Port of that on Game Boy aside, the Game Boy Simpsons games are all bad, especially Camp Deadly and Bart vs the Juggernauts

Don’t worry guys...I took the bullet for you all and finished this game back in the day.
It was as fun as drinking Drano.

Krustys Super Fun House was a lot of fun.
I liked the gag where he said something like "The Simpsons should have ended a long time ago.... now on to episode 180 something of the Nerd."

Back during the days when they would slap Bart onto anything and it would sell (no matter how terrible it was).
