I have no idea how all of this promoted crossover is going to work out without one of the promotions within question getting upset with how "their" guys are booked. Call it... cautious optimism. I'm excited to see where it goes. Thats my biggest concern for this too. Can egos be put aside to help put other promotions talent over? Only time will tell The way I see it, Kenny knows how this story needs to play out and I trust him to do it right. He knows for every title he takes, at the end of this he’s going to have to put over one dude from each promotion and make them a star. I also trust that is both Kenny’s and Tony’s endgame here. They both love wrestling and want to see ALL wrestling be awesome.

I haven't been keeping up with Swann, and him being featured has soured me on Impact in general. Is there any real sense of contrition or anything? I can't be alone in being excited by the idea, and then seeing his name and deciding nope.

That was amicably worked out, they both work for Impact. I haven't heard a bad thing said about him before or since, seemed like a very personal and isolated incident that got a lot of press and smacked his reputation for awhile. He's done a good job working it back up.

Only time will tell Delirious has proven he's totally fine with it, given the ROH/New Japan partnership which - and I've been doing a 2016 rewatch - has aged incredibly well.

Only time will tell In order for Omega to win the belts, he has to lose them too, and whoever he would lose the belts to, gets an insane rub, especially when the first guy breaks through and starts taking away the collection Also plenty of AEW talents could take a loss to other promotions stars and not be ruined by it, I think it's helped they show and care about records in AEW and everyone has shown they're not bullet proof.

Yeah so far AEW has shown it pays attention to the fans and will tune its booking. So I have faith this might be the Infinity War of wrestling. Although I'd count out NJPW until the pandemic slows down. The logistics of trying to get a work visa is a nightmare

He's done a good job working it back up. That's where I am at with Swann too. It was absolutely reprehensible what he did, and I can't say I blame anyone who doesn't want to see much of him after that, as I was the same way for quite a while. But, unlike certain people we learned the true nature of this year *cough*Joey Ryan*cough*, he has accepted the consequences of the incident (namely being fired from WWE) gracefully, and worked his ass off for every opportunity that was given to him by whatever promoters would take a chance on him to rebuild his reputation. More importantly, he and his wife stayed together and there has been no sign of any turmoil between the two since, even with them working for the same company as top stars of their respective divisions. It's been long enough that if Su Yung can forgive him and there is no talk of major problems between the two, I don't mind seeing him on my screen. Of course, if there's another incident, I would have no problem with Swann being thrown out of the business altogether.

So on the one hand, I can get the jabs might be pushing things a bit.
On the other, they do sort of make sense in kayfabe. Don’s the EVP of Impact and he took advantage of the AEW invites and Kenny’s recommendations (or contracted allowances) to help steal the AEW world title and basically go channel hopping with it. I’d be a little miffed about that but I’d also be like “Hey, I’m going to give my money and flex a bit to show I’m also not a doormat to this stuff”.
Maybe tone down the AXS shots a bit and I’ll be fine.

Impact drew first blood, so, and TK paying a fee to take shots makes sense. Guessing if Ethan Page/The North or someone else turns out to have been the one to take out Moxley before the initial signing, or Moose or some other Impact talent, that'd be another good escalation.

I'm loving this. I feel like we're getting spoiled.
It's amazing to think this segment was possible because the wwe decided "we got nothing for you" with Gallows and Anderson.

WWE also laid out the blueprint for how NOT to run an invasion angle, so everyone involved here can benefit by learning from the past. So everyone involved here, please, on behalf of all wrestling fans, keep your egos in check and have a long term plan. Don't work yourselves into a shoot, brothers! This is looking really good so far!

Shouldve taken shots at Dixie instead imo like TK saying “I made more in profits in one month than Dixie did in 13 years” or "I paid more wrestlers in one month than Dixie did in 13 years."

Eh, Dixie didn’t wrong him. He has nothing against her. Don’s in charge so he gets his wrath.

I'm going to be the guy to throw cold water on some of this stuff. AEW/IMPACT are definitely crossing over, but I don't think Kenny mentioning the faction name once means we're getting some sort of Avengers style NJPW/AEW/IMPACT event next year. None of the promo materials reference Kenny and the GB's as the Bullet Club.

On the other hand, Kenny did name drop about “reforming the Bullet Club” in the beat down segment on Impact so there was a breadcrumb of something.

If you fully buy into the way Callis has been hyping it anything short of Kenny Omega winning the Royal Rumble will be a disappointment.
I’m just going to try to enjoy whatever we get. We are already in almost unprecedented territory.

I was kind of hoping that Sami Callihan would be the first Impact wrestler to make an AEW appearance, personally.
He and Moxley have a very long history. As well as He and Penta.

Be interesting to see the reaction from the current Bullet Club in New Japan. Can't imagine the Tongans would be on the inside track if Kenny is involved after they beat him and the rest of the Elite down. I'm sure Jay White won't be too thrilled with someone else claiming to be leader. Who knows what KENTA, EVIL, El Phantasmo and the Bone Soldier think.
