Hey, there used to be the Super shows that had Raw and SmackDown taped back to back during the 2000s. Remember that. God, I had forgotten those. Around 2005ish, right?
There's something I find just agonisingly sad about the demise of WCW. Moreso than any other company that's tanked. I can't quite work out what it is.
You aren't alone, I feel the same way. I did a rewatch of a bunch of 1999 WCW recently, and not gonna lie it actually hurt my feelings. Like I felt bad. It's almost surreal going back and watching 99-01.

I remember Christopher Daniels and Michael Modest having a match on Nitro in 2001 too, the one where Daniels brained himself attempting a springboard move. It was pretty good, until it got ruined by Scott Steiner showing up and walloping them both for no reason.
This was also the era when Nitro and Thunder were taped together, hence the one set design for both shows. Imagine buying a ticket to sit through four hours of that shit.
