Yeah, and apparently he was unhappy with the final product last night. I saw him post somewhere that basically said he didn't think it needed to be produced that badly as the idea of a guy facing himself was comedy on its own and and felt that the production of it was embarrassing. He said he wasn't sent the final product and never even wanted the Karate Man on TV. Huh. That’s a shame considering. I didn’t actually see it yet but how did it compare to the YouTube version? Basically it took the YouTube version and turned up the wackiness a ton. Like they moved between backgrounds a ton for no reason and has no real story until the end.

Like, without added context of things, it feels like a shame that seems to be how his Impact career ends considering for the past couple of years, you honestly couldn’t have found a better cheerleader for the company than Ethan Page.

I really dug the show last night, but I had a long day so I was literally fading in and out of consciousness during barbed wire massacre and the main event. Totally gonna rewatch them before Batwoman and the Clippers game tonight.
I must say though, while I dug the Bullet Club gear, Kenny looked like a dork in a Halloween shirt in January. Dude probably owns at least 20 or 30 Bullet Club shirts and he pick that one?

I enjoy Karate Man, but I prefer Ethan. Not many wrestlers can say they lost a match to themselves by murder.

Quoting again because I actually read the post he put up via Maffew’s page and man, I feel really bad for him considering. As I said, dude was pretty much the unofficial Impact spokesman so it feels really crappy to do that to him considering.

But at the same time even as a Ethan Page fan I couldnt really tell the difference between Ethans version of the character on his vlog and what Impact did, besides some hilarious background changes. I mean Ethan knew what was happening when he was being filmed. I know he wanted the character just for the indies and his vlog, but for such a ridiculous character, I don’t know how personally you can take it, if your the one that invented it. Not many guys can say they left a company by murder. To be honest he’s probably got a bunch of new fans last night.

*sees GIF of what happened with Page/Karate Man* ...So Ethan Page is a free agent, right? I haven't followed Page on Twitter so I dont know if this is new but except for 2 tweets his Twitter is empty. A retweet from December and this video he posted earlier today:

I know its to f*** with Tama somehow, but how exactly?? Not sure. Were they originally formed in an October Njpw run??

Really Good Show last night! Congratulations to Fire N Flava on winning the Knockouts Tag Team Championships! Great main event(though, I don't think Swann should've taken the fall), liked the Barbed Wire Massacre...especially, it's Clockwork Orange House of Fun inspired look, the X-Division & Knockout Title matches were good. Finally, I'm gonna miss Madison Rayne, good luck to her on whatever she does in her post-wrestling life!

They should have been protected.

Just finished watching this, thought it was a decent enough show and I really enjoyed the main event but I was still kind of left wanting... something. Maybe someone from AEW (preferably Mox) coming out to give Omega a receipt or even just something a little less straight cut than a clean Omega win, but these are minor complaints in the grand scheme of things.
I do want to give a shoutout to Moose though, he wasn't someone I was particularly bothered about either way going into this but he took this opportunity and ran with it. For me he totally stole the spotlight from the perpetually underwhelming Rich Swann and actually looked like someone who could give Kenny a match should they choose to take that route eventually. Food for thought.

Have no idea if its related to the ppv, but Tama posted this, this morning Lmao. At least he’s having fun with it. I’m kinda over Tama’s whole shtick being some BC gatekeeper. It’s sad and old. Might be the clean shaven face too. I'm kind of over Tama in general. Like, I don't think he's past it, but he's stale AF and he needs a change of scenery.

IMPACT (@impactwrestling) Tweeted: EXCLUSIVE: "With Kenny Omega, a lot of questions are still unanswered." We caught up with @gottagetswann after the historic #HardToKill main event before @themoosenation VIOLENTLY interrupted. t.co/FxoKYwlyjh

As someone who doesn't watch Impact I did not know or care who Ethan Page was until I read the words "Has his heart ripped out by Karate Man" on a youtube reaction video. Now I eagerly await to see where he turns up next.
