From a kayfabe standpoint, all they did was use a mic as a foreign object and have been cocky since. They should work some story in where Callis is kayfabe making AEW/TK pay more for Omega appearances, matches etc.
The story itself of the two of them having a lifelong connection and finding a way to work together doesn’t make me hate them at all.

The issue isn’t so much that Omega hit Mox with a mic, it’s that Callis got himself involved in a match and took advantage of AEW’s good will invititation to help Omega win in a questionable manner.

Kenny is an EVP and should have AEW's best interests at heart, instead he works with an uncontracted talent who was called in to speak about Kenny's past to cheat to win the title and then just run out promoting IMPACT.

Didn’t Moxley sign a contract that meant his finisher was illegal during his title match with MJF and then used it when the referees back was turned? Where was the outrage then? Because MJF had Wardlow distract the referee and tried to hit Mox with the ring, it's a heel eating shit and recieving a taste of his own medicine while still looking strong.

In a way, from Tony Khan’s perspective, it makes his “paid ads” on IMPACT seem very justified, in that he’s only responding in kind to Callis’s double-cross.

I mean I get it and already stated that I enjoyed the finish. All I’m saying is that all Kenny & Callis did was break a gentleman’s agreement and take advantage of some hospitality and AEW are acting like they’ve kidnapped all of the 1st born of Orlando to drown them while good guy Moxley (and yeah I get he’s a face with an attitude but he is a face) doesn’t get any s*** for retaining his title via illegal means It’s less about the Moxley/MJF finish and more about the over the top reaction to Kenny and Callis in comparison

Well they have been using this to heavily promote Callis' own promotion to the point Kenny is now wrestling for them. Kayfabe, it's Don using all of Khan's money, effort, title and star to promote and benefit his own promotion. So Tony's pretty justified. Kenny turned his back on Khan, the Bucks, everything that got him where he is.

Sometimes we have these in-depth discussions about how subtlety in storylines in wrestling is actually possible and the fans need to be given more credit
And sometimes this happens

His pre-AEW career was much higher in kayfabe and actual achievements.

It's wrestling, in kayfabe whatever you're doing now is the biggest and best thing ever, your promotion is the best one, their title is the best in the world etc. Jericho and Moxley both said the AEW title was their biggest accomplishment, the biggest prize and both are former WWE Champions, hell Jericho was the first undisputed champion, beating Stone Cold and The Rock at their height in 1 night. And as I said, he's also turned on his friends, Page and the Bucks, Page we saw on screen, the Bucks on BTE and stuff saying they haven't talked to them since it happened and those 4 were this band of brothers who, with Khan, built AEW on an unshakeable business and personal connection.

I wonder if this feud will involve MAtt Hardy being made to stick toothpicks into the locks of Don Callis' rental car at any point.
