I recently started trading my Rocket League items in an attempt to basically trade my way up to having some of the more in demand items. I put a few dollars into it (5 bucks or so) along with the few valuable in-game items I had, and worked my way up. It took a million little trades, but I worked my way up to having a Sky Blue Fennec (a car worth about 2000 credits, or $20).
Last night, I tried to trade up to a Crimson Fennec, which is just slightly more valuable, by offering my Sky Blue Fennec and my last 200 credits. A guy took me up on it, and we went into the trade. Everything was good at first, but right before he hit the trade accept, he pulled a switch on me. I just didn't see it in time, and when I went to look at my new Crimson Fennec, I had...just a regular Fennec.
I have lost basically all my valuable in game items, plus my monetary investment, all to wind up with a car worth less than half of where I had traded up to.
More than anything though, it sucks losing all that work. I was having SO much fun trading around and working out some really good negotiations and trades. I've been in a bad place for awhile now, and I finally found something I was really enjoying...and then a piece of shit person just f***ing ripped it away. I have nothing to really start over again with, and putting in more money isn't really an option. So...I just kinda lost another thing I enjoyed.
Sorry to bum everybody out, I just needed to vent.

Sorry that happened to you, bro. Also, I'm surprised that it's still possible to cheat that easily in a big time game where I would think the programmers would've closed all the cheating loopholes by now. Especially since the game has been active for years now. Anyway, f*** that jackhole. And don't worry, something else fun will come along. Trust me, I've been up and down myself over the past few years and my lows gotten really low at times. But I'm much better now. Something good is always around the corner.
