Definitely the Muppets. It works far better than it has any right to and is an amazing adaptation.

The Muppets was my first introduction to the story, so definitely that one.
I just caught last years BBC Christmas Carol mini series, and while it definitely went a little hard edged, I really enjoyed it none the less. I’m a big Guy Pierce fan tho.

Hearing all the love for the Muppets Christmas Carol makes me really excited for watching it tomorrow for the first time. As it stands now of the ones I have seen, the Mr. Magoo version was definitely really good and entertaining to watch (probably the most I have ever been entertained by the 1960s version of Mr. Magoo). Also have to say that while it doesn't come close to being on the same level as the adaptations mentioned here, the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic adaptation "A Hearth's Warming Tale" was pretty fun too and I'd say it works better as a Carol adaptation for a half-hour format than Mickey's Christmas Carol did (yeah, I have to be the Scrooge here and say that after recently rewatching it again, I found Mickey's Christmas Carol disappointing).
