I started crying a bit reading the lineup. It will be a lot to deal with. Me too man, it's gonna be tough

I wonder if there's a chance Five finds himself either in an unannounced singles match or a match announced later since we have five announced matches for the card.
I would personally mark for a "Five vs Grizzly Redwood" Surprise kind of match, someone who was very close to Brodie in his career.

Don't think he's injured

Guessing that Five either took the "night off" option, or will main event Dark if they film it.

I'll shoot him a DM on Twitter and see if he can confirm if he got a stinger or somethin.

This might actually be the best use of Jericho on commentary, he's very good at putting people over, putting things over, and he knew Brodie for years. Also the "Brodie Jr. Dream Match" billing for the six man main hits hard. That's gonna be a hell of a match.

Looking past the emotions I'm sure people will put on their working boots for this show. Guys and gals will be bumping like crazy as tribute, especially the -1 hand picked team. 10 colliding with Hobbs/Cage is gonna be a fun. I know it's unlikely but I hope OC has some gear from his Chikara as an homage to Lee's time their. I have a mix of sadness and real excitement for this show as a whole.

Honestly, they hadn't really established 10 as a huge threat lately, this could be a show and a match to really legitimize him as a powerhouse.

So they'll either bump New Years Smash Night 1 to next week, or New Years Smash will be combined into one show. Idk if they'll do that though they might wanna have some matches breathe and not take away from others.
This also means Omega/Fenix is gonna kick off 2021 inetead of end 2020 and I gotta tell ya, I'm ok with that... also means that match and Night 1's card instead will go up against New Years Evil so that's a hell of a night of wrestling...

Five could be an alternate if anyone pops for COVID (god forbid), and they'll be taping Dark matches as usual, so he will probably get a big moment on that week's Dark since Dark Order won't otherwise have a presence on that show.

I try to think about the best in any sad situation. For me, watching MJF sell terror for Silver will probably be as close of a feel-good moment you can get out of the situation.

I feel like Dark should be a Best of Brodie Lee Special. Like a collection of his matches from aew and maybe a few from his indy days.

I'll see the full show due to the tribute. Im loving all the love he's being given. It feels similar to when Eddie passed. Surely they'll give their all on the cards.

It's still going to be two weeks: Cool, so the matches already announced should be good to go, and with room to build those cards, if they wanna do stuff like go a new direction with Dark Order permanently, they could establish it on those cards if they don't wanna do any major plot on the Brodie show.
