Trent's unfortunately had an injury bug like this his entire career, one of the things preventing him from taking that next step.

It sucks Trent is hurt, at the same time, I'm glad Best Friends get to cool off for a bit. They already had two tag title shots against two different champs and lost. It lets a new tag team try and find their way in the rankings in the meantime

I assume Orange and Chuck take on Miro and Kip now, there's nothing wrong with that really. Chuck could also be a midcard plug in to win some and lose some. Maybe Trent can still be a presence in the gimmick since with a torn pec he can still be ringside for stuff.

At least it puts over how vicious Miro and Kip are they they in kayfabe shelved Trent for months.

If nothing else, this solves the problem of Miro and Kip being outnumbered in this angle, and Orange isn't exactly busy in the singles divisions anyway. Might as well give the Gentleman's Club a whirl for the first time in AEW.

I do hope Trent? has a speedy recovery though.

I don't know when the hell Gulak's contract is up but if we go full fledged Gentleman's Club reunion, Legal Eagle was one of the best runs he ever had character wise.

The 12 man on Dynamite last week.  I can’t pinpoint exactly when he got hurt, but he was clearly not using his arm toward the end of the match and holding it in an odd way.

That sucks. Best Friends should be the ones chasing the Bucks for the belts since they are the only babyface team right now I could see actually getting cheered over them. Between losing to FTR and getting stuck in time wasting feuds with geeks like Miro and Sabian this might be the end for the team.

I argue that they'd be the only face team cheered over The Bucks, at least in the case of Jurassic Express, they're very over.

If they signed and built Bear Country up as faces they could possibly get there too.

Idk if it's the end of the team per say, frankly, I think they needed a break after already losing two tag title matches, if they had wrestled the Bucks and lost again there would have been talk about them being bridesmaids and never brides.

Why should the Best Friends chase the Bucks tag team titles, and hope to be cheered over them? AEW is a tag team company with like 20 tag teams. There is more to a tag team then trying to win titles.

They had a 5 star match this year that was hailed by people all over the business, and their feud with Ortiz and Santana generated ratings and merch sails.

Who cares if they lost to FTR? FTR who were ranked #1 in PWI for current tag teams and were just tag team champions?

And Miro and Kip Sapian are not geeks, the feud was upper mid-card and will continue with OC and Chuck. Miro just had two shows where he did some superman segments.

Im not sure where any of that leads to them being an "end to the team." You're going to have to explain to me why a popular act with a big fan base, that has been in Dynamite main event recently, that sell a ton of merch, that were a tag team before AEW, that were roomates, would consider breaking up, especially after an injury?
