Oh yeah, sure. Spin on my part, not the biggest Chiefs homer in history talking about a Chargers QB, while being on an island in the discussion, that started with you clearly not understanding how the HOF works..... I think the HOF is for the elite of the elite players. I don't know how anyone can watch Rivers career and see that. Once again; Frank Gore. HoF or not?

Now, I know how Mets fans feel Shit won't change until ownership f***ing changes You're a Knicks fan, you should be used to this shit already. I mean I know Loyalty and all, but goddamn you Jets fans love punishment. MAN LISTEN, we expect dumb shit from the Knicks at this point We all understand shit is trash until Dolan sells the team tho there is some glimmers of hope. Since Phil he's not mettled in the team business as much but he's made some trash hires

Okay, so Frank Gore. HoF鈥檈r? Clear yes. But he鈥檚 never won an MVP or a title or been the best at his position. Winning titles is not a pre-requisite for the HOF聽 It is a good barometer but as I said earlier, if winning rings was the end all be all, you'd have people like Bernie Williams, Robert Horry in the Hall of Fame You need to have individual stats to justify your place because the HOF is a individual accomplishment聽 Also the HOF of different sports reward different things. Baseballs rewards longevity above a else. Footballs generally rewards dominance even if it wasn't long lived like say Terrell Davis.

...NFC East is gonna be won by a team with a losing season, isn't it? If Washington loses, which I hope they do. I just did maths, 6-9-1 could clinch it

I guess you don't think he's a HOFer. Contradiction in 3, 2, 1.....

I'd probably give him the knod, he has longevity stats but the second team all pro and all decade team knod are great too he was in the best RB discussion during his career.

If Washington loses, which I hope they do. I just did maths, 6-9-1 could clinch it聽 The National Football Conference Eastern Division is the saddest bunch of brigands this side of the Mississippi.

And Football also rewards longevity as well聽 No matter how you slice it, if you have the numbers you make it Rivers will probably get in, simply saying I don't really think he should. Matt Ryan is probably going to get in also. At some point passing stats are going to have to be gauged since the games different.

Roaf was the best LT in the league for a period, so not sure where that came from. Orlando Pace, Jon Ogden, Walter Jones. And yeah, I called that shit. 200% homer. Doesn't matter one bit that he was a part of one whole playoff win his entire career. Goal posts change when you're talking about somebody on the Chiefs, not that anybody here would be shocked by that..

And luckily for basketball, they include your whole career which includes college and olympics A Phillip Rivers comparision in the NBA is Carmelo Anthony. All your people you were drafted with has won rings while your career is looked at as underachieving despite your numbers. Melo can get in the HOF on his NBA numbers but what puts him over the top is the Olympics and his lone season at Syracuse winning the National Championship
