Holy f***, when was the last time any hour of WWE drew 4 MIL? Tribal Chief, more like Ratings Chief, am I right?

Beat me to it. Looks like opening hot with Reigns - Owens in a cage was a good move as they pulled over 4 million for that first hour. The huge drop off for the 2nd hour still left them higher than usual in that 2nd hour.
Great show too, maybe they made some new fans (brought back some old ones). We’ll see how next week’s number shakes out.

Strong lead-in, hot opener, and Christmas night in the pandemic era lead to good ratings.

The Big Dog as an appetizer, Big E as a nightcap.
What a tasty meal. Four stars on Nielsen Yelp.

Sadly I missed this one because I was busy doing holiday stuff, but I'm happy for them, Smackdown has been really good lately. Especially Reigns

Well, if these "NFL viewers" skip Raw next Monday, may come back next Friday...

Well, if these "NFL viewers" skip Raw next Monday, may come back next Friday... Smackdown is just a much better and much more palatable (2 hours) show than Raw is for both old and new viewers.

USA needs a strong lead in for RAW. Pacific Blue reboot?

Admittedly probably not the greatest sign that of the new viewers they lost about 93% of them during the second hour, but still, good for them.

Ya know, that could be a good idea for them. Maybe do a couple of big shows that air after the Sunday afternoon game. Of course the big problem there is they’d be going head-to-head with the Sunday night game. But it might be worth the experiment. There is simply no better lead-in than the NFL.

Overnight ratings for the last SD on FOX did hours of 2.14 and 2.07 with a 0.6 and 0.5 in the demo. 2nd hour here doing a 2.57 and 0.8 is still a sizable jump.

USA needs a strong lead in for RAW. Pacific Blue reboot? Bring this back ... ... complete with Vince McMahon saying, “coming up next, it’s Monday Night Raw! Only on USA!”

Smackdown just has more to work with than RAW too when it comes to trying to get viewers. Like how AEW can try and get casuals from the NBA at times Smackdown benefits from sometimes being able to benefit the huge viewership the NFL can generate
That being said, it's just the better show than RAW is.

Wow I thought the NFL overrun must’ve been much higher. So they still pulled over 4 million average for the entire first hour with the overrun only starting them at 5. Pretty impressive.

Good to see honestly. If they didn’t get a bump from a direct lead-in from the NFL, it seriously could’ve jeopardized them getting resigned by Fox.

USA needs a strong lead in for RAW. Pacific Blue reboot? We've been without Silk Stalkings for far too long.
