Brodie Jr. cut two promos on DARK that make it incredible to think he is only an 8 year old kid. He has such a swagger about him, he isn't nervous at all when he's out there cutting a promo, he just has something special if he sticks with wrestling.
Brodie Sr. is undoubtedly smiling down at him right now.

You’ll need to clean that shit up.
Yeah the kid is one of the best things in wrestling. Kinda hope he keeps popping up.

I find it beyond amusing he's 8 and still Marko is the smaller dude in their feud.

I will look forward if Brodie Jr follows a future in wrestling. Even as a teenager when he already has a better grasp of things,he will be able to add a lot to the Dark Order

You could hear the nerves in Brodie Jr's voice, but for an 8 year old he's pretty good. Even has a cadence to his delivery.

If Brodie Jr becomes a wrestler (No surefire thing, obviously) the interesting thing is that he'll be able to feud with a lot of the current roster. Imagine he comes in at, we'll say, the young age of 21 (The same as a few current roster members)
MJF would be.... 37. Which is still well within the average wrestler's prime. John Silver would be 42, etc. It is entirely possible (Again, if he doesn't decide he wants to do something else, which is probably more likely considering he's 8) for Brodie Lee Jr to catch a lot of the current generation in the latter half of their primes, which isn't really a situation we've seen many other second generation workers in.

This kid really is special Seriously, eight years old and two weeks after losing his father, and he's cutting promos and looking real comfortable doing it. The kid's a natural.

His promo on Luther had me howling. "I know what I know 'cause I have a brain, not a stupid red ball." Loved his "Am I right, boys?/You believe this chump?" mannerisms too.

Some more info on his passing from the Observer:
"Huber was first hospitalized in Tampa when his lungs stopped working for reasons that still aren’t clear. The fact he was tested more than a dozen times for COVID-19, shows that the doctors at the Mayo Clinic were looking for that to be the reason. But every test came up negative, including for antibodies which would show if he somehow previously had it and it slipped through the cracks. He was being tested by AEW every time he came to television, which would mean sometimes weekly, and other times every other week.
AEW, and in specific, Megha Parekh, the Senior Vice President and Chief Legal officer for both the Jacksonville Jaguars and AEW, as well as the Khan family’s General Counsel, were able to get him moved, via airlift, from the hospital in Tampa, where the family lived, to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville on 10/31. The treatment at the Mayo Clinic was top-notch but also very expensive so a lot of strings had to be pulled. The diagnosis by that time was bleak, and while the odds were always strongly against him, there was hope the Mayo Clinic could save him.
Amanda Huber informed those in the company on 11/7, so all the key people that worked with him knew. She asked everyone to keep it quiet. He didn’t want the information out and she didn’t want rumors to spread, so everyone kept it quiet.
Jon Huber would have needed a lung transplant. He would need to get on the list, qualify, and get a donor and the lungs needed to be fit for size. With him being 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds, that made things more complicated. He would then have to live his life heavily immunocompromised and take a lot of anti-rejection drugs. But he never got healthy enough to qualify for a lung transplant.
For those in the company, it had been two straight months where they knew the end result was likely inevitable."
I can't imagine how painful that was for everyone involved to know what was likely coming and being unable to stop it. Props to everyone for knowing all of that and keeping it hidden and still being able to go out there and perform.

It is insanely impressive that they managed to keep this quiet for so long. Know at least some people had some idea of it but that it was kept this close to the chest really says a lot about how tight of a ship they run and how respected he was.

And to have people like Disco and Mitchell say what they said, disgusting. Just horrible turn of events. I have a friend who had a lung transplant, but he was in Canada, and he had a long time to find a match. Rest in Power Jon Huber.

Between Jon Huber and Chadwick Boseman, those folks had some incredibly tight-lipped inner circles. I don't know how many people within Chadwick's orbit knew about his cancer, but for an industry as infamously loose-lipped as pro wrestling, I'm almost impressed at how nothing but vague rumors about him being sick came out about Brodie.

Incredible to think these guys not only kept this secret for almost two months but kept on brave faces and kept on working normally for that time too... I don't know how many people could have truly done that.

So the company found out the day of Full Gear that Brodie was sick?
Man, that's gotta weigh on you, knowing one of your guys is sick while you have to put on a big show like that.
