When he was revealed at barley legal as being in the riot gear with Rick rude what was the reasoning behind it I don’t recall any kind of build up between lee and Shane Douglas or if there was even a payoff after the reveal. Am I forgetting stuff here?

I think they tried to explain that Lee was paid off by Rude to turn on Shane. Then he just left after BL to become Chainz and nothing came of it.
IRL, it goes to show that not even Heyman was immune from resorting to Russo swerves.

Brian Lee was a part of Shane's Triple Threat after his feud with Dreamer ended.
I couldn’t tell you what was worse: Shane's match vs. Pitbull 2 or the reveal of who was under the mask. Joey played it as if it was obviously Rude just because he wore the robe. Yeah...if Rude suddenly gained 50 pounds over the weekend.

It should have been Pitbull *1*. We saw 2 hundreds of times against Shane, and 1 just came back, and it was a great angle I might add. So what do they do? "Reinjure" Wolfe and go right back to Shane vs. #2. Paul Heyman Was Not A Perfect Booker.

There's a sort of irony of Brian Lee being the Imposter Undertaker, then coming back as Chainz, then about two years later, The Undertaker becomes a biker.

I forgot the actual combination, but the end sequence was something like: chairshot for 2 count, belt shot for 2, chain for 2, belly-to-belly for the pin. What. The. Hell?

I've mentioned the same thing on this board a couple times regarding Shane Douglas. I was a huge ECW fan back then but watching Douglas and his opponent brawl over the building and make it back to the ring and hit the guy with a belly to belly suplex and get a 3 count after beating a guy in the head with everything not tied down always looked ridiculous to me.

I'm glad I'm not alone in this. Even in the nineties a basic Belly to Belly was not finisher material.

Shane’s belly to belly of doom was always hilarious to me because on any given ECW show you had guys getting hit with all manner of plunder, a powerbomb from the top rope, through tables, on the outside, sunset flip powerbombs to the concrete that rarely ended the fight but once Shane hits the belly to belly it’s all over,

I’m wondering if there’s any heat between Brian Lee and WWE for him portraying the Undertaker in that Bollywood movie. What year was it from, just based on the gimmicks I would imagine it was original time period. I doubt Vince McMahon or WWF hire ups saw this plus if there had been any heat it died because WWF had him back plus they kept his brothers employed on and off for three years. All three were boring and contributed nothing to the shows. I think Lee was also close with the real Undertaker.
