You know who else gives you a lot of content at once? McDonald's!

2 live action & animated films yeah no problem with that, 4 live action films a year and your going the activision/guitar hero route of killing off the fanbase.

If the movies are good, sure, why not, but maybe reign it in bit? Summer and Christmas blockbusters, with two "smaller" movies for spring and autumn, and then the riskier/experimental HBO stuff as cherry-on-top? "Max spinoff?" as in Maxwell Lord spinoff? Not too sure that will be very profitable...

How about get some good shit out first?
Greedy execs pumping out content doesnt mean anyone will watch your content, especially when your content is as rubbish as DC's movies have by and large been.
Get some solid wins, and some solid direction, then expand.
But no, money always wins.

How about get some good shit out first? By 2022, people will be flocking to theatres to watch ANYTHING, quality be damned. People will just be happy to sit in a crowd again. Probably be a good time to re-release some bombs, just to make some extra cash... "Cats 2022"?

So DC is gonna keep with their gameplan of trying to copy the marvel cinematic universe without putting any of the effort?

In theory, with 4 movies a year they have a better chance and getting one good one.
DC needs more Shazzam type movies that are outside their current "model"

Not only four in theatres but two on HBO Max.
What's the most Marvel have done? Three in a year?

I’ve heard the genre burnout thing for comic movies for like two decades now. Thing is, as long as the story is good, people are gonna tune in. It’s when shit starts getting pumped out that people quit watching.
