WWE's video packages are always top notch. They can find a way to make it look good. I imagine that in Wrestlemania retrospectives, the two cinematic matches are pretty much all we'll see from 2020. I could see them showing Drew holding the WWE championship. but in a way that obscures the fact there was no audience to see it. As for my thoughts, I'm thinking once this is all over, kinda forget about it for a few years, and then when there's distance look back on the positives of how we got through it, I guess. That's my take for general pop culture from this past year.

Honestly I assume any future video packages showing off Drew winning the belt will focus on him winning it from Orton since at least the Thunderdome is, like, presentable. Also, having not even seen the Orton match, I am 100% positive it was miles better than the Lesnar match.

Random thought... Will not having live crowds for like a year finally be the death of the "WHAT" chant? I'm guessing no, because that would be too nice of a thing. And we can't have nice things. You speak the truth.

They'll show Drew winning at Mania and then cut to a random past shot of people celebrating whether from his Rumble win or something he wasn't even involved him.

They'll promote it big time as the year they put smiles on faces.
Also, too many big things happened this year to avoid: Drew's title win, MVP's revival, Roman fn Reigns: Monster Heel, Dabba Kato Doo...

From a TV product standpoint they did the best they could and their PPVs specifically were absolutely fantastic overall.

Despite all the positives, the negatives will always stand out.
Just like every year, except this one was less fun.

Honestly I feel like the lasting impression of WWE in 2020 for me is going to be, "Oh yeah, that's the year when they let all the creeps get off with zero consequences, had no problem with people saying a bunch of racist shit, and kept letting people be idiots in regards to a life-and-death situation, while destroying wrestlers' ability to have fun off the clock." This whole year's been incredibly mask off for them. Yep. The game’s grimey but holy shit, WWE showed their ass to an outstanding degree AND you could argue that they legit endangered public health with that stunt in Florida, which is now one of the biggest hotspots in the world

They tried to adapt and did a couple of good things cinematically, but for the most part were exposed as creatively bankrupt storyline wise.

I will remember it for a group of guys working really hard to entertain folks during one of the rougher times in our world's history. I know there's been bad stuff that's happened with the company itself, but I think this year was a lot for the guys to work through and I give them all the respect in the world.
