At the end of the Miz vs Gran Metallik match, as the Lucha House Party were celebrating, listen to the commentary, Byron Saxton starts listing things that the Miz has lost and ends it with 'lost his life too' and you'll hear (I think it was) Joe say 'Byron!' as if to tell him it's not the right episode to be using that phrase (due to obvious reasons).
Did this happen or am I imagining things?

my brain thought it was some strange botched joke about "he might lose his wife" that came out wrong.
Either way, whatever he said came out wrong.

It sounded like "wife" to me.

You mean his nip slip? Otherwise, no.

He said “wife.” He compared it to the old country song cliche about losing everything, and after the briefcase it would be his wife.

I heard the line But can't remember if he said life or wife.
Either way, saying unintentionally insensitive shit at the wrong time happens to the best of us.

I think Byron sucks and all, but I don’t think there’s anything there.

He was saying it was like a country song, something like Miz had lost the match, his briefcase, he might've lost his wife. I didn't really notice Joe's response to it, just kinda quirked an eyebrow at that, wondering about Maryse for a second, then refocused on Miz.
