A decade or so after the rest of the world, I’ve just started watching Modern Family. Always good seeing Ed O’Neill on the screen.

The new Nancy Drew series on the CW. It's fine, I guess? It wants to be Riverdale so bad and I just wish it did more to carve out its own identity. I do like all the references they make to the original books and it certainly helps that I've been reading some of them over the past few months. Fwiw, I've watched Nancy Drew since the beginning and, imo, it starts to get better. By the time the season ended, I was actually a little disappointed it was over. Also, I felt the ending was pretty well done, considering Covid cut the season short by a few episodes and they had to put something together. The biggest issue I think the show has is that Nancy is the most annoying one on the show; however, she does become more tolerable in the later episodes. I love her friends, though, especially Ace, which is kinda funny considering he's one of the characters *not* from the books. I'm kinda looking forward to it coming back, as opposed to Riverdale, which I gave up on last season and don't even really miss. I think I cut out at the right time, because something I heard about would have legit annoyed me had I been watching. It sounded actually bad, as opposed to the silly bad Riverdale usually is.

Yeah, last season of Riverdale was such an unfocused mess that I already forget most of it. It’s like they couldn’t figure out what direction to go in so they just threw a bunch of plot lines out there (Jughead’s boarding school, evil new principal, something about creepy videotapes?!?) and then COVID put a stop to wrapping any of them up in time.

The Jughead stuff that they ended season three with is the stuff that annoyed me just hearing about it. I thought the end of S3 was intriguing (even though I knew he obviously wouldn't be dead) and from what I can tell, they threw it away in, like, half an episode in the middle of season four.

Cobra Kai Carmen Sandiego Lilyhammer The Bob Newhart Show
If the wife watches something and I'm in the room, I'll look on. She's working her way through Bewitched.

I just finished my 20th time through Burn Notice (it's kind of my comfort show to watch) and now I'm making my way through The Originals again. Been needing shows that relieve anxiety of late and those two do it for me.

Enterprise. Actually never watched and about halfway through the first season. Surprisingly un-bad so far, although I’m not loving the “Are the Vulcans EEEEVIL???” subplot.. See how it fairs after first year jitters

Enterprise. Actually never watched and about halfway through the first season. Taking this long to actually go back and check the show out, I guess you could say it's been a loooooong road...

Sometimes I tell my wife about a show I would like to see and she totally no-sells the idea of watching it. And then somewhere down the line, she decides that she does want to watch it because “someone” said it was really good.
So it turns out that Broadchurch is even better than I thought it would be. Twisty and turny and magnificently acted. It is our new obsession.

Just started rewatching Lost for the first time in a looooooong time. I want to rewatch Lost but this time I want to watch "Lost In Order" where a fan put everything in chronological order. I can't find it anywhere online though.
