Can someone explain to me what was wrong with the Dark Knight Rises aside from it having the impossible task of following a GOAT? I personally enjoyed it I still find it plenty watchable, but the movie has a ton of logistical failings that can really take you out of it. It pretty desperately could have used another rewrite because as it is there are all kinds of problems with it to where the whole thing kind of falls apart when you think about it for a second, like how apparently Bruce was leasing everything he owned and hadn't paid his bills in months, judging by how everything got repossessed and shut off immediately, and no one found it at all suspicious that the day of an attack on the stock exchange he just randomly threw away all of his money.

At times you can't understand what he's saying and it just seemed like such a weird accent choice for the character. Also why doesn't the government/army interfere with what's happening in Gotham. They just let Bane take over for months on end. Also how does Batman get back into Gotham? Also how does Batman get out of the blast radius at the end? Just to name a few.

As much of a huge Batman fan I am, I've only watched 12 out of the 42 movies listed...and I find that sad.

Was rewatching Batman Returns when I made this thread last night and am rewatching Batman Forever presently. First time I've seen it in probably about a decade and it's really weird, do still definitely like it but it's kind of just a decent popcorn movie... but you can see little bits and pieces throughout to where if they had had the freedom to just go a bit darker with it it could've potentially been amazing. The movie does a lot of things right and feel like with some of the campiness toned down (mostly Two-Face), a bit of rewriting to cut down the awkwardness of teenage grown man Robin, and keeping a lot of the cut content it could've been fantastic.

Do "Batman: Dead End" and the "Grayson" trailer count?

SHould have been either shorter or made into two films. Didn't help that when i saw it in a theater it was in the screening room with seats that appeared ot have been filled with concrete back before I was born. \ Of the Nolan 3 the only one I bother watching anymore, and I might see it once every 2 years,is TDK.Batman Begins..I didnt want or need another Batman origin film. And DKR is just too damn long.

Pretty much seen all the movies chronologically released from Batman Returns to Under the Red Hood. I technically saw Lego Batman but fell asleep during the half way point.
Loved pretty much loved all the animated ones and Dark Knight will hold a place in my heart for getting me interested in comics.
