It just seems wrong that Tina Louise is the last survivor of the cast. Not, NOT wishing ill on her of course, but given her feelings, it's just...odd.
(If anything I fear for her because 2020 has taken patterns/coincidences in celebrity death. And recalling Fisher/Reynolds in the same final week of the also infamous 2016.)
Anyway RIP. I wasn't a big Gilligan fan but certainly watched it a lot back in the day. (I'm liking Maynard G. Krebs a bit more now) You can't deny her being part of an iconic set of characters.
I should find a bakery with coconut cream pie in her honor.

Aw crap, Alex too....
I *WAS* looking for the ad, think for 1-800-COLLECT, where she dumped her boyfriend, "for a professor!" Popped up during Raw and Nitro all the time.

She reprised her role in one of the most bizarre episodes of Baywatch ever.
Here is the Allison Preglor “Baywatching” video on that episode (language warning)
May she RIP

I think he means her feelings about the show. She hated it and refused to come back for any of the reunions. So he is saying it seems wrong that the last surviving cast member is the one that hates it. My read on it anyway.

Tina Louise being mad at the show makes sense since the cast got screwed out of syndication money.

Nothing non-FAN friendly. Like I said, I am not wishing harm on anyone. Just saying it's...weird. On lighter notes, remember ALF on Gilligan's Island?

Tina Louise being mad at the show makes sense since the cast got screwed out of syndication money. That does suck but the other cast embraced it. Alan Hale ran a seafood restaurant where he greeted fans in his skipper outfit, Dawn, Bob Denver and Russell Johnson ran official websites where they sold a lot of different island themed merchandise and signed 8x10s all related to the theme. Dawn, Bob and Russell all did convention appearances and I think Bob would even dress in his outfit. They probably made more money doing than than Tina did being bitter about it but I get why someone would be bitter and keep to themselves more. To her credit Tina would sign autographs for fans sending items through the mail, for a fee like the others would, though normally all of them would send another item or sign your first item for free. I'm sure Dawn was a very happy woman in her life. It's sad she passed especially from covid issues. I too was a Mary Ann fan. I wish that I had taken the time to meet her a few years back when she did a convention not too far from me. Edit: This was one of my favorite shows as a kid. The reason I even knew about it in the first place was... WRESTLING It was on before a WCW show on Saturday mornings. And I normally only watched non wrestling shows if they were on before or after wrestling. I never got in to Bonanza though and didn't care for the Andy Griffith Show since it was B&W. I did watch Matlock and was really surprised years later than Matlock and Andy from the AGS were the same actor.

I remember when some of the Gilligan cast appeared on Roseanne. Dawn played Darlene

I did watch Matlock and was really surprised years later than Matlock and Andy from the AGS were the same actor. Which actually reminds me of the WWW review of Greed, and how part of WCW's problem was that "wrestling fans didn't watch anything else on TNT/TBS, and vice versa." I don't know how it became later on, but that was NOT the case in the 80s and early 90s. At least not to me. I loved all the sitcom reruns (which fits our memories in this topic). Ditto cartoon reruns. Later, the first run shows. I even watched the end of Fishing with Orlando Wilson waiting for WCWSN.
