AEW honored Brodie Lee so well tonight. Brodie was clearly loved by all and was one of the legit good people in this business. Mad Props to AEW for show casing what the world lost. I was in tears after the ending video. This is how you honor the good in the business.

Archer is sounding like they all knew. Amazing how they kept the secret in this tmz day & age. Apparently Sean Ross knews but he choose not to say anything about it

The stuff with Brodie’s family was obviously the most emotional. That’s a man’s life and legacy, right there. The othe part that got to me was Jon Moxley’s testimonial. Just straight from the heart and well said.
Rowan showing up, and -1 caning MJF, just put a huge smile on my face. We lost a good one. But AEW did right by Brodie, tonight.

Eddie is the one that was hard for me to listen to. You could see the pain written all over him and he's never afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve.

I wish they could stream that, hell I'd watch a Brodie Jr. gaming channel.

Perfectly done, beautiful. And on a family level, it can’t be overstated how important it is what they’ve done for Brodie’s family. They’ve made Brodie Jr. smile in such an awful period for a kid, and that will make such a difference. Will always love AEW for that. Related, shout out to Jericho when he started addressing future Nolan. Good bit of forward-thinking there making a point of addressing him even though at the time he's probably too young to understand it. Jericho's done some dumb stuff this year but I said it before, he showed his truly good side tonight. Just like he did with Benoit's kid and his Aunt in that Dark Side of the Ring episode. Jericho does a lot for a lot of people in the business, he makes sure people are taken care of and ok, and for that I will always appreciate him (Just do me a favor and be a little less dumb Chris)

Imagine a year ago telling people, "The last Dynamite of 2020 will have the Dark Order win every match in a clean sweep and receive universal acclaim."
Goddamn I wish the circumstances were different getting there.

Goddamn I wish the circumstances were different getting there. Especially after the last Dynamite of 2019 was that DO beat down of The Elite that got, at best, really mixed reviews.

Goddamn I wish the circumstances were different getting there. Hell with that imagine telling someone January 1st 2020 that the last AEW of the year would end with Sting, Cody Rhodes, 10 of the Dark Order (Who didn't even exist yet so Preston Vance), Orange Cassidy, and Darby Allin all standing tall? The drugs they would want from you...

Apparently Sean Ross knews but he choose not to say anything about it From the F4W video about it, it sounds like Alvarez knew he was sick and kept quiet about it. I for one would like to commend the wrestling journalists who both said nothing about his illness and death if they knew, and were respectful to his and his family.

And being infamous for that one TDO guy throwing crappy worked punches on Dustin. That said, I hope next year’s final Dynamite ends with Dark Order triumphant to continue the trend (but, under more happier circumstances, obviously).

That was perfect tonight. Having The Dark Order come out for every match may have seen like overkill to some, but I loved it. It showed the brotherhood and solidarity the group has, the way they all supported each other. As for the matches, I popped huge for Colt during the opener, dude brought it tonight. I've always been a fan of his comedic stuff, but the man is a solid wrestler, too, which he showed tonight.
Archer wearing the Big Rig/Harper costume was awesome and I was happy to see Uno get the win in that one. I marked for the big boot at the start, and Jake's short-arm clothesline popped me huge. The Good, The Bad and The Hungie broke me, though. That's the match I'm going to remember from tonight. The final five minutes, from Rowan's run-in, to the cane shot, to Silver getting the win, and then that post-match celebration... had me tearing up.
The women brought it and you could tell that meant so much to Tay and Anna. Britt's "Big Rig" line during her promo was fantastic. Ten got to look like a star tonight in the main event. All six men belonged, but Ten stood out to me, just because you knew he had to prove to himself that he belonged in that spot. And the ending with Tony presenting -1 with the belt and that video... I'm broken.
Thank you AEW. And thank you Brodie.

Next year, Silver wins the World title to end Dynamite. Dedicates it to Brodie. He'll cry, I'll cry, we'll all cry.

Over 100k Tweets for AEW Dynamite tonight
I don't think I've seen a wrestling show (Outside WrestleMania) get over 100k Tweets in a single night in a very long time, someone can tell me if I'm wrong
Tonight was a special night, born of very unfortunate circumstances. But the outpouring of love was very real. AEW earned it tonight.

Going into this, I knew it would be really hard to watch, but also that I needed to watch it. I knew I'd be sometimes crying, sometimes smiling. I knew it'd be yet another reminder of how cruel 2020 has been, but also a reminder of how good people can be, caring for each other in times of tragedy—the good side of the pro wrestling business that doesn't get talked about nearly enough.
This year more than any other, I've come to appreciate how valuable entertainers are in times of crisis, helping us escape from the madness for just a little bit, keeping ourselves sane. They do this while suffering the same stresses as the rest of us, on top of the stresses of celebrity status and the demands of their jobs. To do all that and be an amazingly kind and caring person? That takes a rare kind of soul.
Brodie was a legend, and this show was an amazing tribute.

I haven't watched every tribute show ever, but this was the best, most emotional one I've ever seen by a long shot.

Fantastic show. Credit to all of the performers, credit to the agents or ring generals, etc, behind the matches, because they hit all the right notes. The plotting of the opening 6 man alone would be worthy of tons of praise, but I feel like the night was pitch perfect.
